Great to be in Manchester for our @RSSB_rail panel on the future of rail. With rail back in the headlines, it is good to have informed voices on important topics like #HS2, modernising rail and delivering infrastructure.
Thank you to speakers and MPs @chrisloder & @gregsmith_uk

@diegojimenez great update. I was having issues with the photo too. But how can we prevent someone just manually turning off wifi, bluetooth and mobile from the control panel, because with control panel already open, locking the screen does not prevent it being used?
@diegojimenez@viticci@AriX Thanks for this. I found I could still turn off mobile and Wi-Fi from the control centre. So I added a “go to Home Screen step before the lock. With control centre access when locked off, you then can’t open it again.
The latest in the RED series of safety briefing films aimed at frontline rail staff looks at why the PTI accounts for such a high proportion of the total fatality risk on the mainline railway.

Head of Engagement @mattclements giving the first @RSSB_rail Facts and Snacks briefing to #teamRSSB on feedback from our membership survey. The report shows strong support for our work across the industry, with some areas to focus for improving.
Times of change can lead to fatigue, anxiety, stress, & uncertainty. In turn, these can increase unintended mistakes. In our Spotlight on Safety video we discuss these issues to help leaders take early action. Watch the full video for more information => https://t.co/zDoTItv9b3
Our railways always need to adapt and evolve... Whether it is human factors and health, learning to improve safety or reducing future risk. That's what RSSB do. Great to show that to @TanDhesi#railsafety#rail
