Senator-elect Bam Aquino on Tuesday, June 24, commemorated the fourth death anniversary of former President Benigno S. "Noynoy" Aquino III, hailing him as a selfless and principled leader who remained devoted to the Filipino people until the end.

"Ngayong araw ang ikaapat na taon ng pagpanaw ni PNoy. Inaalala natin ang kanyang sipag at sakripisyo upang mapaglingkuran ang kanyang mga boss—ang mamamayang Pilipino," Aquino said. "Isang pinunong tapat, totoo, at maka-Diyos. Isang tunay na inspirasyon."

He also expressed gratitude for the late president's deep love for the country.
