@jlongster@jimmyhmiller Yes. That is probably more correct. The output colours are really not defined in the (negative) invalid regions, I just wanted to have some vague representative colour there. Another options to increase the valid area drawn is to add a constant "ambient light" factor everywhere.
@jimmyhmiller@jlongster There is then some stylistic choice in the final intensity to use for the colour, hence the variations of INTENSITY_METHOD in the shader.
@jimmyhmiller@jlongster You can transform xy to XYZ by choosing an arbitrary intensity to use (i.e. specify a value for Y). This shader uses 1.0.
