Dear @JHBWater and @DadaMorero
Water leak reported at the corner of Smith Rd and Sovereign St in Kensington, Johannesburg. Looks serious and needs urgent attention.
Ref: JWAPP-40100785
Get to OR Tambo, and there's no water. First time experiencing this. Private lounges are closed, some restaurants too...Nandos even has a no water sign. Everyone just seems to be going about their business...and that what scares me, situation seems to be normalized. It's NOT normal for an airport not to have water.
Leak not fixed
Dear @JHBWater and @DadaMorero
Leak reported outside 36 Royal Oak, Kensington. Water pressure has since dropped, because of nightly throttling but the leak runs at full force when water is available.

A leak going for over week, whilst I was filming this there was a guy sitting next to my tripod, told me he's from Soweto and doesn't have water at home but he comes here and sees this flowing for days. Corner George and Orange Street, Sandringham - CSDFMC0307235

Good morning @JHBWater and @DadaMorero
The status quo on this leak hasn't changed. Almost two years now and this area is suffering from constant throttling at night (Berea Reservoir) Please help us help you.
Sigh.
@CityPowerJhb some parts of Parktown West are still without power!! There is no supply on Gale Rd or on Doveton (and others) but on Doveton the street lights are on?!? During the day??
Using a water cannon to blast empty pavements in Joburg CBD while your city suffers a historic water crisis is so embarrassing
They chose water cannons to make a big spectacle to look like they’re working. Water cannons are totally unnecessary for removing street sellers. Fools
Residents across several Johannesburg suburbs remain in a state of crisis as dry taps persist, despite high-level assurances from Mayor Dada Morero that relief is on the way. https://t.co/uAaobYyUAL
Dear @JHBWater and @DadaMorero Reference JWAPP-40098309: Road leak reported at the corner of Minerva Street and Roberts Avenue, Kensington, Johannesburg (24 Minerva St, 2101).
Today residents of Westbury and Coronationville are burning tyres not for politics, not for attention, but simply to be seen and heard… all for something as basic as water. 💔
Imagine waking up every day unsure if you’ll be able to drink, cook, wash or even take your medication because the taps are dry. Dignity should not require protest.
Access to water is not a luxury, it’s a human right. How many more cries must be ignored before real action comes?
