@10DowningStreet Piffle. What would help is increasing the number of immigration officers on the ground so they can do lots more spot checks. The people who illegal employ migrants will not care about what ID they have. When people go for legit jobs they already have to prove their right to work

But, far too many obstacles for our bright, dedicated youngsters. My daughter has always wanted to be a surgeon. Currently working hard

@MartinSLewis Be easier to say all basic rate tax payers get it, those on 40% tax (and there are some pensioners who pay this due to good private pensions/investments) don't get it. Don't punish those who have worked hard and saved
