We were very unfortunate yesterday were we saw a 11 year old child collapse on the pitch and was unconscious for 4 mins. The response by club members was outstanding and the defibrillator was deployed. Thankfully it was not needed but it very much hit home, when you hope it wonβt happen, but it did. We are extremely pleased to report the young player is recovering well in hospital.
Huge thanks to Northwest Ambulance Service who were on site very fast and looked at the player impeccably. Next time breakfast is on us. Amazing guys πππ
Please make sure your club members do dummy runs, as you never know when it will happen.
What a club. One big family ππ€
Thanks
It is with great sadness that I share the news that our Club President, John Dennet, passed away today at 1:15pm.
John was a true legend of our club and a proud World War II veteran. His lifelong commitment, dedication, and passion for the club were second to none. From youth football right through to the senior team, John played an enormous role in shaping the club into what it is today.
On behalf of everyone at the club, we would like to express our deepest gratitude for everything he gave over so many years. His presence, wisdom, and unwavering support will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with Johnβs family and friends at this difficult time.
Rest in peace, John. Your legacy will live on in our club forever.
Well holding a minutes applause this Saturday 28th March at 3pm, at our last game of the season to remember John.

Lovely day for a win!
High energy from the start, sharp on the ball, and working hard for each other. You could see the intent and creating chances throughout. A strong team performance.

If anyone is free next Thursday, get down and support both sets of lads. Both teams have done boss to reach the County Cup Semi Final.
Under the lights on the senior pitch.. no matter who wins hopefully both sides will remember the game when they are older.
Bar & Food open.
Saturday we are at home Vs Hightown Vets. With no game on Saturday for the Reds & Blue come down to The Gough to get your football fix ππ»β½οΈ
@GoodisonHistory 1-0 v Blackburn when Ruddy got sent and Turner came on (or other way round?) Early.
Ref gave us nothing, not bedlam when we scored but you could feel the anger and frustration in the ground.
Top performance from the boys this morning on a slippy pitch. The team ethic was class to watch today - everyone played their part and backed each other all game
MOM: James Led well, stayed switched on. A proper captainβs performance - well done, mate
