Writing is a lot like shoveling snow: By the end of it, you're exhausted and your back hurts, but at least you did something no one will appreciate.

@xrayeyes36@frictionalgames It’s a shining example of existential horror. Frictional does such a good job — in general but especially in SOMA — of making the player feel so isolated and lonely. It can be scary, sure, but I think more than anything, it’s really sad.
@advnturehawkins You know what’s so funny? I came on here to delete my account and saw your tweet, and I’m pretty sure the last tweet I saw last time I was on was a tweet of yours about The Long Dark lol
@Rosilind420xo@AbigailJoyFloat@t_sadiity Sure, but “so frequently encountered” is a euphemism for “so many people got it wrong for so long that we couldn’t ignore it anymore.” Unfortunately, that’s how plenty of words and idioms end up being accepted as standard.
@RossTweetsGames The difference between Dishonored and most other stealth games is that those other games punish the player for being discovered. Being discovered by enemies in Dishonored is as fun as keeping your cover intact.
@Sshh_ImReading @StephenKing "Different Seasons" probably contains my favorite stories of his, but if we're going by horror, then I'd probably go with "Salem's Lot." Characters in horror stories are famously stupid, but the characters in SL are smart and still end up in trouble.
