@fakepaulblood@willmbetts Yeah their next media deal is in 2032. I could see teams leaving the ACC. Then USF/Tulane getting invited. Then Memphis and maybe a TX school move to the PAC, b/c at that point their media deal will be closer to the MW/SBC range. I don’t see an invite to the ACC for them either.
@fakepaulblood@willmbetts They are subsidizing the legacy schools with exit fees that is how they make 10M+. Once the exit fees run dry and the CUSA 6 become full members, the top American schools will see a significant decrease in revenue. It will be interesting to see how they handle it.
So you’re telling me that I don’t need to have a streaming account to watch every @pac12 football game…? I just need a regular old tv and standard cable access? And we already know all the times..? Cool…🐾⭐️
Their media deal has gone decreased considerably since it was signed in 2019. It was 83.3M/year in 2019 and 70.1M/year in 2024. It is now 65.2M/year for 2025 because of SMUs departure. Revenue for the top schools has been subsidised by the exit fees, but those don’t last forever.
Memphis received $12 million from the American Conference in 2025, according to tax documents obtained by @memphisnews.
But unlike the year before, Memphis wasn't at the top of the conference. ECU and USF both received more.

@ShawnCMemphis@BlickieMartin@TheJonahDylan@memphisnews Plus whatever tournament units and bowl revenue the PAC receives. Your 12M is mostly exit fees from the departed schools. Your media deal was 83.3M in 2019 and is now 65.2M. Exit fees don’t last forever.
@Lycan7hropyHD@Bill_CFB_Guy@TBM_JY The settlement should free up some cash. My guess is they add by the end of summer, but like they’ve said consistently the member/s have to add value. Top brands of the “G6” or they’ll wait for the ACC chaos. Home & homes aren’t ideal, but it’s better than a bottom feeder.
