Fighting for candidates who fight for us #painpatientsvote PAC4pain supports any candidate who supports #CPP regardless of party MDs not DEA practice medicine
I called to get my #OpioidRx refilled. The technician asked me to hold on while he checked to see if it was in stock then he expedited it so that it would be ready in less than thirty minutes: this is how I wish all of our fellow pain patients could describe their experience.
@JoeAllenNewman@Angel2bme It shouldn’t exist, other countries don’t need drug cops. Regular cops handle illicit cops just fine and don’t feel the need to make up crimes as much
@Angel2bme They have no idea what they want, but if that’s the case I’m thinking of they likely went after him for dispensing the cheaper Subutex instead of Suboxone only
@IdiotTracker@ibdgirl76 Surveys are often highly unreliable, especially when dealing with something moralized (heroin addicts want to blame doctors instead of admit that they chose to take the opioid)
2) Do you do this w lung cancer patients who don’t quit smoking? How about OUD patients who relapse 3) cirrhosis patients who continue to drink? 4) diabetes patients who eat poorly? Or is it just reserved for cpp’s, mostly women that have FM, IC, TMJ, migraines ( he listed these
I’ve listened to 2 podcasts w Dr Daniel Clauw re FM. Says if patient isn’t actively doing things to get better like go to his website, exercise, snd if they keep asking for opioids, he tells doctors to dismiss them Bc they’ll “suck the life out of you.” Here are my questions 1)
Saying Purdue lied in their marketing therefore pain patient shouldn’t have access to pain medication is the same thing as saying in Indivior lies in their marketing of Suboxone so no one should have access to Suboxone. These are inaccurate information
We live in a county where the seemingly #1 goal is to not treat pain with opioids. Everything else comes second. The only metric of success seems to be whether or not someone took opioids for pain.
Want to know how to discuss the false talking point that “USA is 5% of the world’s population but consumes 80% of the world’s opioids”? We put this together for us. #harmreduction#cpp @CMerandi @life_is_art___ https://t.co/KueudmvXUa
@DarkistB4Dawn@ibdgirl76 1) it is not the
2) you are not leaving because they aren’t prescribing exactly what you want, but because they offer nothing as safe and effective instead. If you’re lucky they’ll offer experimental injections with black box warning against their use
If you don’t see how #Dopesick is adding to stigma, just pay attn to how pain patients are being spoken to since the show came out. The amount of hatred and nastiness being thrown and CPP’s who depend on opioids and doctors who treat pain is unacceptable. You are ADDING to stigma
@ACLakeMD We kicked out a housing inspector last year when there was no vaccine. He wouldn’t wear a mask after a dual bacterial infection either. Our lawyer had him fired for other major violations
