#WATCH | Delhi: On correction in the Indian stock market, Chief Global Strategist and Co-Founder of Pace Group, Amit Goel says, "The immediate reasons of the market crash are external. NASDAQ 100 of the US stock market had gone into a bubble zone for quite some time. The valuations were very unsustainable because of which NASDAQ was going down for the last three weeks... Today we saw the impact of the global equity bubble burst... We were going well till Thursday. But since the global bubble burst, we were bound to be impacted sooner or later. Second, over the weekend we heard that Warren Buffet had extensively sold his holdings over the last 3-4 months, not just Apple stocks, but also Bank of America stocks. This was an indication that despite being on liquidity, he sold stocks worth billions... Third, the economic data of the United States over the last few weeks was very poor. The US economy is fast moving towards recession. And if that happens, the Indian market will not be able to sustain itself... These are immediate reasons for today's correction, but our market is greatly affected by over-valuation... We have been alerting investors from the last few weeks to not invest in this bubble. The investors need not panic sell now, they should wait for euphoria. The panic in the market will persist for a few more days, and euphoria will return..."
