That's not a bird or a plane, that's cottonwood and it gets really thick this time of year.
Cottonwood buildup can clog HVAC systems, causing them to use more energy and possibly burn out. Be sure to routinely inspect you HVAC intakes + coils for buildup, and monitor energy use.
