@RealD_Jackson $31M guaranteed is practically nothing though. Will end up looking like a 1 year deal the Packers can get out of if he still can't stay on the field.
@smartbackwards@Monte_Esports@CS2Analytics That website is actively harmful for public understanding of VRS on top of the obvious AI slop of it all. Brutal decision by Monte.
Trump on Iran War:
Reporter: What extent are Americans’ financial situation motivating you to make a deal?
Trump: Not even a little bit. I don't think about Americans’ financial situation
@BrettSiegelNBA@ClutchPoints You gotta be a real smooth brain to think he was in Milwaukee in a hotel at the same time as the meeting, shit, probably the same hotel Jenkins was staying at, snd think he wasn't in the meeting. Just use your brain man.
A summer of change begins for the Bucks as Rivers exits at 97-103 across three seasons in Milwaukee -- two first-round exits and missing the playoffs and play-in this year. The Bucks will pay out Rivers on his eight-figure salary for the final year on his deal in 2026-27.
@Professeur_CS They're just clueless. There is a <1% chance they secure any more tier 1 invites than they have with this team. Have to make a double change now to give themselves the option to fork their core if they do well. So obvious this team is going nowhere.
@Mauisnake Astralis kept stavn over him. Mental stuff. Two orgs back to back he's deadlifted to major qualification. Man deserves his respect and then some.
@Professeur_CS A bunch of people who don't understand the system at all acting like experts with the most short sighted broken brained suggestions imaginable. Very funny indeed.
@MischiefCS2 100%. And most of it is from bad actors who don't even try to understand despite being years in, some of whom get hired to work events where being able to know the basics of the system should be a basic job requirement. It's really not that hard to have a basic understanding!
@Buckethead_cs It's much more exciting and feels much more earned. And the effects its had on the ecosystem to give us a ton of new interesting events and to add stakes to every game has been awesome.
@FilousC I will never understand how it's a bad thing to take a whole season's results into account for major qualification as opposed to being able to get in by having a good week. Let alone the other many positive benefits of VRS. Smooth brained moron takes
@smartbackwards I mean we essentially already have this. There aren't teams who are making stage 2 on only tier 2 results. Monte have wins over NaVi, PARI, NRG, M8s, NiP and have been good all season. The teams who are qualifying mostly through open LANs are going to 90% all be in stage 1.
@OfficialBleh It should be impossible for a team that was runners up last major to miss the next, purely on the prize money + invites alone. FaZe finally paying the devil in the land of The Count for all their magic over the years. Wild stuff.
@ThomasCS__ I think an ideal system would be primarily VRS based but also having a last chance qualifier of sorts (on LAN) for the last 2-4 spots. That way the best teams in the season would still be rewarded while giving chances to more teams on the fringe to earn it + it'd be exciting.
