Very pleased that after 2 years of hard work Govt has listened and is now not going to sell of C4. Thanks to all Pact members who supported out campaigns.
In the fight to keep C4 publicly owned we have to be careful that C4 and us fight to protect them that, we don’t end up going down a VC rabbit hole of extra “ private “ investment that will not only corrupt their values but also transfer value from their suppliers to VC.
Good to see former Conservative DCMS Sec, Karen Bradley MP arguing against the privatisation of C4 on @ConHome.
Privatisation would be hugely damaging to indies and all the other local businesses that the production sector supports.

Why’s is it that the BBC’s voice over announcements are Southern Irish? Given the wide range of diversity of language in the 4 nations it seems a bit lacking in imagination. by the way love Irish accents but don’t get it.
