PACTT was excited to host Senator Mike Simmons at our school today. He spent time with our students & vocational members, learning about the issues important to them. Thank you, @SenMikeSimmons for all you are doing to support the people of the 7th district!
PACTT wants to thank @SenatorSteans for her service and support for the people of her district. She has been a dynamic leader who has championed the rights of all people across Illinois, including people with autism. We wish her all the best. Thank you, Senator Steans!
By prioritizing ppl/w I/DD and support staff, #Illinois would be joining several states in prioritizing this population for priority access to the #COVID19Vaccine#twill
As Illinois is finalizing its request for initial vaccines, we encourage @GovPritzker & @IDPH to include ppl/w I/DD and support staff in the priority groups to receive the #COVID19Vaccine#twill
National studies have indicated the ppl/w intellectual/developmental disabilities have increased mortality rates when contracting #COVID19 - and thus are an at risk population @GovPritzker@IDPH
With COVID-19 vaccines likely soon available on a rationed basis, governors will be key decision makers on who receives the vaccines first. Ask your governor today to include people with I/DD and the DSPs who support them in the first priority tier! https://t.co/fEyIGjW2fo
PACTT congratulates John Lipscomb on an outstanding career in the developmental disability field. Recognized as a leader in the field, John has generously shared his wisdom and experience with PACTT, helping our agency to become the organization it is today.
Bob Parrilli finished the 2020 Bike for PACTT with a round trip to Lockport along the Calumet Trail. PACTT parent Dave Bertellotti joined him in riding for a great cause. Thank you Bob, all who rode, and all who donated for your heroic efforts in supporting PACTT so generously!
Bob Parrilli has been cycling furiously in Bike for PACTT since last Thursday. John Connelly, Tom Jacobs & Dave Schmidt joined in over the weekend as the trio pedaled to raise funds for PACTT. Bob has raised over $60,000 for PACTT since May 1. Thank you Bob & friends!

The celebration of our PACTT team continues with a message from PACTT's Program Director, Lisa Fegert, who has the privilege of supporting ALL our PACTT programs:
Thank you, PACTT supporters! Your #GivingTuesdayNow contributions have made a huge difference at PACTT Learning Center. Thank You for helping us all to change the way we think and speak about autism.
Support PACTT's #GivingTuesdayNOW fundraiser, an emergency response to COVID-19. All donations today are DOUBLED, up to $50k. We are grateful for our dedicated, courageous direct care staff who are going above and beyond in carrying out the essential work in our group homes.
PACTT is fortunate to have generous partners like the folks at Opportunity Knocks. Last week, OK delivered 12 hot meals to PACTT CILA residents, who really enjoyed the taco treat. This week, PACTT's children's homes will also get a tasty dinner. Thanks, Opportunity Knocks!
