"Old Parish - Notes On Hurling" will be released by Penguin Sandycove on September 18th, but it's available to pre-order right now - https://t.co/Ysrw8ne6LR
ITV pulling zero punches in this incredible footage - "This landscape of destruction looks otherworldy, but it's not, it's this world - What is happening may come to define one of its darkest eras, one that casts a stain on humanity, which will endure for generations" #Gaza
This was a heartbreaking report on the untimely and avoidable death of Michael Cuddihy from sepsis in UHL last November. Huge admiration for the Cuddihy family asking essential Qs about the service. Only when they spoke to media were they promised a full review
Tonight, Prime Time will screen a report about how my Dad - who died six months ago today - should still be alive today.
I hope his story goes some way towards stopping cases like his from happening at University Hospital Limerick.
Please watch it.

Thank you, Dr. Khalil, faithful brother and worrier for life through all these months of Israeli terrorbombing, betrayal and deceit from The Powers. You have shown what true courage and profound compassion is, what human professionalism and dignity is, what resistance against evil colonialism and raw brutality means.
You, like all Palestinian HCWs and the people of Gaza and Palestine, YOU are the real moral power and YOU protect the heart of our planet, so badly bled by death and evil. I’ve known you for years and my respect and admiration for you, your sumud, your show of artistry in the middle of deep darkness, it’s a lighthouse of morality and HOPE for the world.
We, the millions supporting Gaza’s brave struggle, must take inspiration from you an mount more massive solidarity for you and for Palestine!
Dr. Mads
Remembering the late great Philly McGuinness RIP, a Mohill GAA and Leitrim GAA star, who would have been celebrating his 10th actual birthdate today.
Feb 29th, 1984 - April 19th, 2010.
Taken too soon, but certainly will never be forgotten. #LeapDay
@EoinMcDevitt Even more so because you so rarely see them now and he had so many. Stand-out is the one at Highbury, where he basically jumped over Tony Adams to thump a header in. Best header I've ever seen. 90th-minute consolation in a whipping, of course. Classic Everton
Such a great turnout for the launch of Service last night @Hodges_Figgis. Thanks to everyone who came, @GillHessLtd for organising and Joseph O’Connor for a terrific introduction 😍
Is the discussion ‘should AI recreate music?’ or is the discussion ‘Why is contemporary music so homogenised & formulaic that it’s really easy to copy?’
