Y es que una letra de la placa aparece borrada para evitar multas.
Esquer está acostumbrado estar en la polémica.
En 2017 fue grabado participando en un “carrusel” de depósitos al fideicomiso que Morena creó para damnificados.
En una sola sucursal, él y otros operadores realizaron 28 depósitos de 50 mil pesos en 20 minutos.
Además, cuando manejaba las finanzas de Morena firmó contratos de la campaña de 2018.
Pero lo hizo con dos empresas que después fueron incluidas por el SAT en su lista definitiva de compañías que simulaban operaciones.
Ahora el hombre que durante años manejó dinero y operación política alrededor de López Obrador vuelve a ser exhibido por una placa alterada.
She was 39, had no doctorate, no medical degree and had never trained abroad. She was handed a national project and told to find a cure for malaria.
Tu Youyou put her one-year-old with her parents and her four-year-old in a nursery, then went to Hainan Island to watch what the disease actually did to people.
Back in Beijing her team went through more than 2,000 traditional recipes and tested 380 extracts from 200 herbs. One of them, sweet wormwood, kept giving results that came and went. Sometimes it killed the parasite in mice. Sometimes nothing.
So she went back to the old texts and found the answer in a handbook of emergency prescriptions written around 340 AD. The instruction was to soak the herb in water and wring out the juice. Cold. Every modern extraction boils the plant, and boiling destroys the active compound. A sixteen-hundred-year-old sentence told her the standard method in every laboratory in the world was the thing ruining her results.
She switched to a low-temperature solvent. In October 1971 sample 191 cleared the parasite completely.
Then somebody had to take it. She volunteered to go first, along with two colleagues, before it was given to any patient.
Artemisinin is now the front-line treatment for malaria worldwide and has saved millions of lives, a large share of them children under five. She was 84 when the Nobel committee called. She said the prize belonged more to the tradition she had read than to her.

A researcher at the University of Pennsylvania was given a choice in 1995: abandon her idea, or take a demotion and a pay cut and keep going. She had just been diagnosed with cancer, and her husband was stuck in Hungary on a visa problem.
She took the demotion.
Katalin Kariko had been working since 1989 on mRNA, the molecule that carries instructions from your DNA out to the parts of the cell that build proteins. Her plan was to write those instructions herself, put them into a person, and have the body manufacture whatever medicine was needed. The field considered this a dead end, grant applications came back rejected, and colleagues described her work as obsessive. She was demoted four times in all.
Her strategy was to make herself too cheap to be worth firing: low salary, no postdocs, nothing expensive on the budget line. She has described it as working like nothing had happened.
In 1997 she got talking to an immunologist at the photocopier. They worked together for eight years and solved the problem that had killed the field, which was that injected mRNA triggered a violent immune reaction. They published in 2005. Nobody paid attention.
In 2013 the university cleared out her lab without telling her. She left at 58 for a small German company and commuted from America for nine years.
The vaccines built on that ignored 2005 paper went into billions of arms. She won the Nobel Prize in 2023, almost ten years to the day after being pushed out of the building.

A chemist at DuPont was trying to dissolve a polymer in 1965 when the solution came out wrong.
It should have been clear and thick, like molasses. What she had was cloudy and poured like water. Anyone else would have thrown it away as a botched batch with something floating in it.
Stephanie Kwolek looked at it and thought there was something different about it, and that it might turn out to be useful. To find out, she needed it spun into fibre, and the technician who ran the spinning equipment refused. He said it would never spin, that it was too fluid, that the cloudiness meant there was particulate matter in it that would wreck his machine.
She spent several days persuading him. The fibre that came out was five times stronger than steel by weight. She called it Fibre B. The world calls it Kevlar.
She said afterwards that she had not been thinking about bulletproof vests at all. Someone else in the building was already looking for a material for them, and when she first spun the fibre he came over and asked whether she could spare a small amount to test.
Her name is on 28 patents. She signed the Kevlar patent over to DuPont, which was standard for company chemists, and made no royalties from a product that generates hundreds of millions a year.
Thousands of police officers and soldiers have been shot and lived. One of them called her afterwards from his hospital bed to say thank you. All of it rests on a woman spending several days arguing with a man who did not want to run her sample.

He didn’t fight a 500-lb granite slab. He put ice under it, pulled the straps, and let physics finish the job. Ice melts. Stone drops. Perfect fit. Old mason trick. Zero machines screaming.
A 24-year-old PhD student spent two years sledgehammering poles into a field outside Cambridge to build a radio telescope, then had to read what it printed out.
It produced about 100 feet of chart paper a day. She went through it by hand, looking for patterns in ink.
In November 1967 she found what she called a bit of scruff. A quarter of an inch of squiggle on a roll of paper, in a signal she described as one part in ten million.
Her supervisor said it was interference. She kept going anyway, partly because she was convinced she was not good enough to be there and would be found out. So she checked everything.

Jocelyn Bell Burnell had discovered pulsars, the collapsed cores of dead stars, spinning fast enough to sweep a beam of radio waves past the earth like a lighthouse. Nothing known could produce a signal that regular, and for a while they seriously wondered about aliens.
The 1974 Nobel Prize went to her supervisor. She was not on it.
She has been asked about it for fifty years and has never once been bitter in public, saying students were simply not recognised in those days.
In 2018 she was given a special prize worth about 2.3 million pounds for the discovery. She gave every penny of it away, to fund physics PhDs for people who do not usually get them.

Pues vamos a ponerle a cada una la otra mitad de la realidad que convenientemente no apareció en el video:
1️⃣ “Subió el salario mínimo y la pobreza laboral está en su mínimo”.
Sí, el salario mínimo aumentó.
Pero la pobreza laboral pasó de 30.7% a 31.9% en apenas un trimestre.
Es decir: SUBIÓ 1.2 puntos porcentuales en tres meses.
Si vas a presumir el mínimo, Claudia, también cuenta que después volvió a subir.
2️⃣ “Somos de los países con menos desempleo del mundo”.
Sí: en julio la desocupación fue de apenas 2.9%.
Ahora cuenta la otra mitad:
56.2% de la población ocupada trabaja en la informalidad.
Y 38.9% está en condiciones críticas de ocupación, frente a 37.3% un año antes.
Presumir que la gente tiene trabajo sin explicar qué clase de trabajo tiene también es contar la historia a medias.
3️⃣ “Bajó la inflación y el costo de la canasta básica”.
Sí, la inflación general se ha moderado.
Pero en la primera quincena de agosto se ubicó en 3.26% anual y la subyacente en 3.93%.
Y mientras presume la canasta, el costo de la canasta alimentaria aumentó 3.8% anual en las ciudades y 2.0% en las zonas rurales durante julio.
Menor inflación NO significa que los precios bajaron.
Significa que siguen subiendo, sólo que más despacio.
4️⃣ “El peso es de las monedas más fuertes de todo el mundo”.
Sí: tenemos el famoso “superpeso”.
Ahora cuenta por qué.
La debilidad global del dólar ha sido el principal motor de la apreciación reciente del peso.
Y hay otro ingrediente que tampoco apareció en el video: Banxico mantiene su tasa de referencia en 6.50%, mientras las tasas relativamente altas de México siguen haciendo atractivo al peso para operaciones de carry trade.

Empresas mexicanas ya reportan presión en sus márgenes porque cobran en dólares y, al convertirlos, reciben menos pesos.

5️⃣ “No ha habido gasolinazos”.
Sí, se ha contenido el golpe al precio.
Ahora cuenta cuánto cuesta contenerlo.
El subsecretario de Ingresos de Hacienda, Carlos Lerma Cotera, informó que los estímulos fiscales al IEPS de los combustibles tuvieron un costo de 42 MIL MILLONES DE PESOS solamente durante el primer semestre de 2026.
Y los estímulos siguen:
para el 22 al 28 de agosto Hacienda mantiene estímulos de $1.5037 por litro de Magna y $6.0813 por litro de diésel.
Además, el Gobierno acaba de renovar por otros seis meses su estrategia para mantener la gasolina regular por debajo de $24 por litro y el diésel debajo de $27.
Entonces no, contener el precio NO ocurre por arte de magia ni sale gratis.
Y después de omitir todo esto, Claudia termina diciendo:
“Con honestidad, damos resultados”.
Pues precisamente con honestidad se cuentan TODOS LOS DATOS:
los que favorecen al gobierno y los que arruinan el comercial.

One school bus was already on its way. The headmaster saw it approaching the bridge and told the driver to turn back. The bus reached safety just before the bridge collapsed.
Then the flood hit the school. The entire three-storey school was washed away. It completely vanished. Not even a trace was left behind.
But all 1,643 children survived.

The egg that became you was made inside your mother while she was still a fetus inside your grandmother.
A female fetus builds her entire lifetime supply of eggs before she is born. By about 20 weeks she has six to seven million of them. By the day she is delivered the number has already fallen to one or two million, and it keeps falling. Around 400 will ever be released.
Which means that at one moment your grandmother was carrying your mother, and your mother was already carrying the cell that would become you. Three generations in one body at the same time, and only one of them knew about it.
Work out the date and it gets stranger. A woman born in 1976 came from an egg formed around 1946, three decades before she was born, in a body that was itself unborn.
There is a caveat worth being honest about. An egg carries half your genetic material, so the cell in your grandmother was half of you. And a few studies in mice have raised the possibility that women might make some new eggs in adulthood, though the finding is contested and nobody is rewriting the textbooks.
What is not contested is the timing. Your mother never made that egg, she was assembled around it while the egg sat waiting inside her.
There is one part that has no caveat. The mitochondria, the parts of your cells that make energy, come only from the egg. Yours were in your grandmother's body. If you have a daughter, hers were in yours, formed while you were carrying her and had no idea.
So a woman pregnant with a girl is carrying her grandchildren too, in the most literal sense the phrase allows. Every woman reading this began inside a woman she may never have met, in a body that had not yet been born itself.
