I've now joined the elite thanks to this Crime Dog mailday.

I'm a diehard Padres fan, but you can't love baseball and not also love Vin Scully, even if he was rooting for the bad guys. 🙃

70 years ago today, Vin Scully called his first game for the Brooklyn Dodgers! Who's got a better PC of Vin than me? I want to see them! 😃 Top real, bottom customs.

Happy Birthday to Padres great Randy Jones! One of my favorite off-the-wall TTM successes is this Pirates custom he kindly signed for me a few years back. Randy went to spring training with the team in '83 but was cut before opening day & retired. @RJBBQ35 #PadresFanFest #Pirates

Is it possible for a man to be in love with a card? I received this Tony Gwynn refractor auto today and I'm tempted to start a new life with it down Mexico way. Me + Tony = 4ever

I've kept a "lucky card" in my car since the mid 90s. It's in rough shape! Finally scored a dupe for the indoor part of my collection the other day.

Lots of "moon" talk regarding 50 years ago today. Did you know that in 1969, Wally Moon was hitting coach for the #Padres? So there's that!

The first Padre card I ever had as a kid was a Steve Garvey that came with a loaf of bread my mom bought. Now 32 years later, I've finally completed my set of 1987 Bohemian Hearth Bread Padres. Feels good! New post: https://t.co/mQSCgiKwM0

Tony looking to get that batting title by any means necessary.

Kris Bryant might not be a Padre, but hey, at least he still gives me some San Diego pride thanks to his USD ties. I took a prospective-student tour of USD when I was a HS senior. It's a fabulous campus. Ultimately, I felt a bit intimidated by it all and went to Grossmont/SDSU.

Thanks to my buddy Doug in Canada for the surprise pack of great Padres cards! Especially love the brown pinstripe on the Gwynn and the old-school Winfield.

Thanks to @Lost_Collector for the surprise mailday of San Diego cards, highlighted by a numbered parallel of Trevor Hoffman. Much appreciated!

I've got a pretty cool boss who surprised me today with a Tony Gwynn McFarlane figure for Christmas. Sweet! Love that early 80s uni so much.

Are there a better pair of Padres rookie cards from the 70s? Very happy to score these in a recent trade. Latest Baseball Card Breakdown post: https://t.co/ofMRzj2fUw

Here's a random Padres tidbit: a 1987 Topps Eric Show card is somewhat visible for a moment in the Tom Hanks' classic Big (1988). Discovered that while working on a project of mine, The List of Baseball Cards in Movies and TV. Check it out: https://t.co/51Tz91tWgJ

Happy 100th to PCL Padres legend Ted Williams!

Quick vacation to New England and stumbled upon a Friar's Brewhouse microbrew. I figured that was a good enough excuse to pull out my #WalletCard Gwynn for a photo. Good stuff. https://t.co/VVbIK9tHlE
