I believe that MAGAs love our country. But for all the wrong reasons. They love it cuz they have an ugly need to feel superior. The idea that America is exceptional to all other countries fits this perfectly, but the exclusivity of belonging here is key. Letting immigrants in ruins the entire illusion for them. They need to be a part of something that no one else is allowed to be a part of.

Rep. Diana DeGette (D-CO), who has served in Congress for nearly 30 years, lost a heated primary race on Tuesday night to Melat Kiros, a lawyer and Democratic Socialist.

We are not going to win all of them this year, but we are going to make progress. We are going to make the corporate Dem establishment pay attention to their voters whether they want to or not. Those who resist will find themselves being primaried.

Primaries are designed for the dissatisfied to seek change. It does not mean they are dividing the party. It simply means they are exercising their right to choose change. November is a time for Dems to come together as one even if change has occurred.

I am hoping to see many more upsets because I want us to have the same social benefits as the rest of the world.
