An Open Source startup in Iceland: PageKite is the fast, reliable localhost tunneling solution. We make life easier for web developers all over the world. :-)
I've really enjoyed working on a version of @PageKite for #MicroPython: upagekite
I'm now writing a tutorial on how to use #upagekite to create simple public facing embedded web-apps.
The first draft of the first chapter is up! Would love some feedback: https://t.co/tK3Z5LwwnN
It appears someone has been vandalizing the PageKite wiki.
We apologize for the disruption, we will be reverting their edits and bringing things back to normal during the next few days.
A new version of https://t.co/un5PzKKxhM has been released: https://t.co/b2AyNnxDt9
If you are having difficulty connecting to our relays, please upgrade!
We have released updated .deb packages to resolve this issue.
People who would rather not upgrade can add the following line to /etc/pagekite.d/20_frontends.rc:
ca_certs=/etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt
Users of current `https://t.co/un5PzKKxhM` bundles were not effected.
I'm experimenting with using Svarbox (a customer-support chat tool) by @ISNIC, on the https://t.co/ewJewQETN4 website.
Surprise benefit: Now I feel productive and hard-working, no matter what I do on my laptop (as long as I'm logged in to the chat)!
It's nice to see that the devices that went offline last week are slowly starting to come back.
The updates are working!
If you haven't updated your PageKite yet, check our blog for details: https://t.co/8ai4oCgusq
PSA: If your PageKites aren't working, it is almost certainly not your fault!
We messed up and shipped a nasty bug; you will need to upgrade or reconfigure.
Details are here: https://t.co/iQhJryxFA5
We have updated the blog post with a complete description of what went wrong and what we're doing about it.
The tl;dr: people need to update their https://t.co/un5PzKKxhM or make a minor configuration change to get their kites back in the air.
Apologies for the inconvenience!
It has come to our attention that a large number of https://t.co/un5PzKKxhM instances are currently unable to connect to our service, due to an as-yet-undiagnosed problem validating our TLS certificate. We are investigating. https://t.co/iQhJryxFA5
This post has been updated with some details, and a workaround.
Properly solving this requires getting some rest, more updates will be posted tomorrow.

After lots more testing and bugfixes to the bugfixes, I've tagged a new release and updated the official @PageKite Debian repository: https://t.co/VRvUwhXEZf
If you using PageKite for anything even modestly bandwidth intensive, you definitely want to upgrade.
Every once in a while I go study a map of global submarine cables, to consider where to add @PageKite relay capacity: https://t.co/cSwf56HMwg
Our latest addition: Mumbai, India!
I have no idea how to reach web devs and embedded in India, but, uh, spread the word?
We (almost) have a new payment processor! Finally!
Be one of the first to buy more time, and we'll give you 50% extra as a thank-you for helping us test.

(And please let us know if it doesn't work.)
If anyone out there is looking for an paid Open Source work on Android, involving the NDK... it would be super cool if someone dragged the @PageKite Android app into modernity.
Make me an offer?

Our credit card payment processor, DalPay, is currently unable to process payments for us. They warn us this may become permanent.
It will take us a little while to find a replacement; in the meantime we plan to disable subscription time limits.
Free Service!
Merry Christmas?
