The Irvington Vikings in Fremont California are shutting down their football program.
Wait……What! Yes it’s true!
Last year the Vikings went 7-4 and the staff are now all done.

To the fine Irvington Vikings parents:
Time to fight back.
Start the tsunami of transfers and get out now🏈
The Irvington administration is weak and pathetic for this to happen!
You NEVER EVER give up on kids!
They say it’s an eligibility issue.
Here’s an idea……..FIX IT!!
These idiots are in the kid business and they failed. It’s that simple!
Pull your kids, tank their enrollment, and force them to feel it.
Push the entire administration out. Enough is enough.
The Irvington administration takes over the top spot as the worst administration in the state!
This simply can’t happen!
Let us know when the next school board meeting is because we should all be there to see what incompetence looks like.
Dropping the football program will hurt school spirt, the fine @IRV_Baseball and the rest of the @Irv_Athletics programs….DUH!

This should piss everyone off for this to be happening in 2026.

My parents are 70 years old. My dad is my mom's main caregiver. My mom is on oxygen and in a wheelchair. Here they are in a steady rain last night watching my baby pitch to close a game.

A lot of ppl don't understand ⚾️🥎🏀⚽️🏐ball parents, but I was raised living this life. I was rushed from cheer practice to the ball park. My parents sacrificed their money and time. Their patience was stretched thin. I'm sure their marriage was tested.

I was poured into.

Ball parents are called crazy for pouring countless nights, weekends, and dollars into the sport. But for many of us, we're just pouring into our kid's dreams and enjoying the time we get together during some of the most important years of their childhood.

I was privileged to have parents who were more than happy and more than willing to give me THIS childhood.

I was privileged to chase and cart around Robo's brothers and sisters from ballpark to ballpark and I'm privileged to chase and cart Robo from ballpark to ballpark...all bc my parents normalized the ballpark life for me.

And here they are; still showing up 32 years after it all started with me.

I never want to know what my life or my son's life would be like without their love, support and sacrifice.

Show up for your kids.

Show up for your grandkids.

Show up for the kids in your life.

Normalize showing up in your family.

The future generations in your lineage will be better for it.

I pray that I get to be 70 years old watching my grandkids play ball in the rain.
