@EntityDark303 @araghchi They got rid of Mossadegh and his cabinet, which were aligned with the communist Tudeh party. The rest of the constitutional government of Iran was still intact. Mossadegh's downfall was alienating allies, attempting to consolidate power for himself and aligning with Tudeh.

@EntityDark303 @araghchi ISIS and Taliban aren't represented in the UN, didn't have recognized governmental structure, no formal recognition from any country, have no diplomats. Iran does. Why do 70-80% of Iranians want the regime gone?

@EntityDark303 @araghchi They specifically called out Iran because it is Iran who funds & arms the Houthis, Hezbollah & Hamas. So, their complaint to the UN was valid. Iran shared intelligence for a few months after 9/11, then supplied IEDs to the Taliban in Afghanistan that killed countless Americans.

@EntityDark303 @araghchi You still haven't answered my question. Why did 11 Gulf countries write a letter to the UN and label Iran as a state sponsor of terrorism...in 2016? Iran has attacked Australia, several countries in Asia, S. America, Europe, Middle East...directly or through its proxies.

@EntityDark303 @araghchi Mossadegh aligned with the Tudeh party. The Tudeh party was communist. This was at the height of the cold war and Mossadegh, even though he was a communist, was letting the Tudeh party make decisions and the Tudeh party wanted to align Iran more with Russia.
