"Maulvi Fitrat" (Nawidullah Fitrat), a well-known Afghan figure who previously criticized the Taliban, was actually detained by the Taliban in Herat, not deployed as a commander to Yemen. Maulvi Fitrat (Nawidullah Fitrat) was detained by the Taliban on the morning of Wednesday, August 26, 2026. According to local reports and eyewitnesses, Taliban intelligence forces arrested the university lecturer and teacher around 8:00 AM near Cinema Square in Herat city. The Taliban also reportedly detained a local family that had been hosting him.

His arrest came just days after he published a widely shared live video on his Facebook page. In the video, Fitrat openly criticized the Taliban regime, accusing them of using a "religious mask" to pursue authoritarian and ethnic objectives. Foreshadowing his detention, he stated in the broadcast, "This may be my last video, but I will tell the truth before I die."

Iran has reportedly issued “Code 100”, its highest military alert level, Trump has cut short his Camp David weekend, Netanyahu has shortened his US trip and US missions across the Middle East have issued security alerts. All these global gangsters are up for something bigger than this region has seen and this all is being executed by Houthis.

The language the Houthi leader used to warn Pakistan and Turkiye to stay out of their aggression on Saudi Arabia is highly provocative. They want war no matter what & they will keep provoking until they bring in Saudi, Turkiye Pakistan in a war that they are fighting to facilitate greater Israel plan execution.

Iran’s proxy network is serving Israel’s expansionist agenda and US oil economy .. and this proxy network has been put in place for this purpose.

Remember this Iranian proxy network actually bloomed after US invasion of Iraq and Trump confessed it himself in his presidential debate that “Iraq was a stable country , we destabilised it and gave it to Iran”.

No one has made any claims, but this is a direct to NATO importers besides China. Italy, Germany, Spain, France, and Greece are the main customers of Libyan Oil. So far, from every Pakistani account here on X, the government of Pakistan and religious circles from Pakistan have only made empty threats, speeches, and rallies against the Houthis, in favor of Saudi Arabia and as the savior of Islam, but I have yet to see boots on the ground; no flights are leaving from Pakistan with the mujahadin. During the late 70s and early 80s, there used to be flights from Saudi Arabia, landing in Peshawar with fighters from all across the Arab world to cross the border into Afghanistan and to fight the infidels at the time. Why can't Pakistanis show the same spirit? Why do they only bark with no bite?

Saudis dump the Chinese, cut a deal with Trump and wait for military help

The Saudis announced the cancellation of mBridge, a central bank digital currency system designed to reduce U.S. dollar reliance.

SAMA (the Saudi Central Bank) joined as an observer in 2023, piloted the project in 2024, and wrapped up formal membership in May 2025.

The kingdom offered a flimsy excuse, claiming it had already walked away from the program long ago and that the relationship never went beyond a test.

The problem is that through May, June and July 2026 the Financial Times itself, the Hong Kong press and analyses such as Forbes were still treating SAMA as a member. In September, a policy paper still listed Saudi Arabia in the project. There is no official SAMA note from May 2025 saying they had left.

What exists now is Riyadh telling the FT that the pilot ended on May 13, 2025, and that after that it was no longer a participant. That is obviously not how governments handle an exit from programs like this.

And it isn’t only that. With the F-35 purchase, the Saudis will also have to give up more of the Chinese 5G networks.

Official contracts for the sale of sensitive technologies like the F-35 come with rigid clauses on data encryption, network security and physical access control at military bases.

The Pentagon formally requires that no communications technology from rival countries interact with, or share networks near, the aircraft’s ecosystem.
They warn that the presence of those companies creates risks of electronic espionage and reverse engineering of F-35 systems.

No question this is a setback for the relationship China had been building with the Saudis.

But what did Trump actually offer the Saudis in this current negotiation?
Trump folded and handed over the nuclear program, now the F-35s, but weeks ago he refused to join the Saudi naval coalition against the Yemenis, and more recently he refused to bomb Yemen to help MBS, who has taken recent hits with the Houthi advance against his allies.

The Houthis then stepped up the bombing of Saudi installations, pushing oil above $105, and that is what brought Trump back to stitch together a deal with Bin Salman.

Saudis want the Al-Mocha Port in Yemen, and the Emiratis want the Berbera port in Somalia to control the egress point of the Bab el-Mandeb. This battle is for regional hegemony between the Arabs and the rest of the world is going to pay the price. In all of this, Pakistanis will be the biggest losers.

The Saudi Air Force carried out a "limited" airstrike on Yemen's Mukalla port on December 30, 2025. Two ships arrived from the UAE port of Fujairah and allegedly unloaded unauthorized weapons and combat vehicles allegedly for the Southern Transitional Council (STC). In the current scenario, while Saudi Arabia is fighting Ansar Allah in Yemen and aiding STC, it doesn't make any sense why the Saudis attacked the arms shipment to STC and 9 months later they are fighting with them against Ansar. Either that weapon was meant to move further to Somalia, which Saudis didn't want or it was a race to see who would come to STC's aid first.

In either scenario, the plan in Yemen is very sinister and Pakistan will be the ultimate loser now, regardless of when the Pakistanis take part in this conflict or not.

I am sorry but this sounded more like a rant than a coherent reply to his threat which is real. When Ansar start lobbing missiles to Karachi Oil refinery or KANUPP in Karachi then we all will be singing a different tune. All our three naval bases are within their reach as well. So the advice Pakistani should be giving to Asim Munir should be stay the hell out of Yemen and make Neanderthalic threats that doesn’t get us anything. Posting Fatah Missile system photos will not accomplish anything Saudis also have Ballistic missiles and it hasn’t achieved anything.
