@mark_markre@YouTube It's one of those records that sounds better when heard out. Acquires more oomph! Don't know the Esther Phillips version. Will dig it out.
@HLTCO Understandable comments about Roy, but the problem is, as you said at the beginning, at club level. But let's not pretend it's just Roy. It's as much about our ownership model and Parish's leadership. And let's be honest, Roy wasn't supported in the summer transfer window.
@HLTCO Sorry Dan, but I don't think there has been an acceptance that this season is about treading water, even if that's what we've been doing since at least the Forest game. Everyone I know was expecting some form of progress this season. And that was down to 'next level' Parish.
@alexdclark87@HLTCO Spot on. Guess we'll soon see if we have not just the recruitment team to identify players, but the money and leadership to get them over the line quickly, and then the management team to integrate them into the squad.
@HLTCO Very considered Dan. However, can't help but feel that you're a tad optimistic. As @MattWoosie excellent article on Dougie pointed out, we're untested on investing the funding made available from selling our star players. And our track record generally on transfers is 'mixed'.
@mark_markre @NAGWood @tonyschokman @MichaelAllen68@Vespapaulo65 Listened last week Tony. Really enjoyable. Nice shout out for the Rivoli. Going to be a while before I can get back. Holidays and weddings playing havoc with planning βΉοΈ
@mark_markre@Vespapaulo65@jchow_1 Thanks for the offer Mark. Planning on giving Friday a miss. Need to save my dodgy knees for the 100 club on 6th π
@HLTCO@CPFC_GEO Then that doesn't reflect well on the Board then Dan, as our poor or at best inconsistent results and performances have been an issue for some months, not just the past couple of weeks.
