I’m very happy to join the campaign against obesity launched by PM @narendramodi ji. Obesity causes a number of lifestyle related health issues like heart disease, type 2 diabetes, strokes & breathing problems not to mention mental health conditions like anxiety & depression. Today I’m nominating these 10 people to join the PM’s campaign against obesity & requesting them to nominate a further 10 people each to take this fight forward.

For the last many years, there’s been a lot of show and optics surrounding sports development in J&K. But the reality is that J&K can't produce top athletes at the national level because of how the government treats our talented players. The lack of recognition for champions sends a message of indifference. In the last years, all our sports stars have been ignored by the J&K government, with false optics. Not a single outstanding athlete has been appointed as a mark of honor, despite Sports SRO 349 (SO 12/SO412).
FYI @satishsharmajnk @CM_JnK, urging you to consider the appointments of outstanding athletes and personally interact with all those who have been victims of systemic abuse. These players deserve recognition and support for their contributions to sports, not neglect. It's time to show that J&K truly values its champions.
