🇺🇸 Team USA paraded the American flag and Johnny Gaudreau’s jersey around the ice following their big win, honoring their late teammate and the country he loved
This is awesome.
As many of you know, I am very open about my opinion of Trump, but I have never really said it clearly until today. Now, there you go—I support Trump 2024!
As a software engineer, there's zero upside to expressing my opinion like this one. I could lose potential jobs, contracts, customers, and even friends. It is always a taboo in the tech industry to say anything nice about Trump. On the other hand, many people in the tech industry aren't afraid to publicly share their hate for Trump, even in the company's Slack public channels. That reminds me of the "Yeah, that bitch" vibe from high school mean girls. You need to be one of them, hating the person they designed; otherwise, they will bully you. Same shit 😅 But you know what? I don't care now.
Years ago, as a newcomer to the US, I never really knew who Trump was. However, I still remember one time I rode a Lyft or Uber in San Francisco, and the driver said this when I got in his car.
"They are Trump supporters, disgusting!" (I think he meant the previous passengers)
I was surprised by how much hate I sensed in that driver's voice. I wondered who Trump was and what the heck he did, and they hated him so much. I don't hate a person I don't even know, and I only felt scared to sit in a car with a seemingly radical driver.
When it came to 2016, I recall one night in San Francisco, I heard the whole city suddenly cry out loud. It turned out Trump just won the election. I still have no idea who Trump was, but my wife and I laughed so hard because we had never seen a whole city meltdown like that 🤣
During Trump's years, life was pretty good, no wars, and the economy was great. The only major crisis is that he said something, and they made countless news cycles about it, which I never paid attention to because I didn't have to. My theory about being a good engineer is that you make things work. Nobody complains or even notices you are doing the work behind the scenes, and nothing bad happens as it should. He did a great job, so I don't need to know who he is.
I recalled one time hearing my coworkers discussing who they wanted to vote for in the primary election to beat Trump. I asked them why they hated Trump so much. They were stunned by my question, thought for a long time, and finally came up with the term "Baby jail." It appeared to be a hot topic that the media had discussed for a while. I did a quick check but realized that the so-called cage for babies existed in the Obama era. By the way, the irony is I heard that they like Bernie Sanders, but Demoncrats rigged the primary so that they don't get to choose. (And now they have Kamala. Once again, unfortunately, they didn't get to pick and kept calling it for saving democracy for all the dirty things they did)
Then, the pandemic came. Because of the SARS (V1 of COVID) experience in Taiwan, I was very nervous when I heard about the V2 coming to the US. I paid great attention to the news. I watched all of Trump's press conferences. He answered all the tough questions, and the press was hostile toward him. Unlike right now, we never see anything like that from the current president, and until recently, the press only asked him what his favorite ice cream was.
I realized something odd: Trump banned airplanes from China. I think it's a right move, but somehow, the media kept calling him racist or xenophobic. Then, the CCP kept pushing propaganda, saying that it was the US army who brought the virus to China. That tweet from Chinese MFA Lijian Zhao is still here today. You can check it out yourself:
https://t.co/gyQ63sRDbs
Trump pushed back by calling it the "Chinese virus." I followed all these closely, so I knew what he meant was pushing back the false narrative created by CCP. Trump said it very clearly: it's the virus from China, it's the Chinese virus. What shocked me was the media started spinning, claiming that as proof Trump is a racist. That's something that pissed me off. When a foreign adversary made a false claim saying that the virus was brought to China by our army, your president pushed back the false narrative, and you called him a racist without mentioning any of the context?
At that moment, I realized how much legacy media hated Trump. They are willing to do anything to destroy him, including destroying their own country. Since then, whenever the press has said something bad about Trump, I have almost always checked and verified the source to see if any of it was true. Unfortunately, nearly all of what the media claims about Trump is simply false.
Then, when it came to the 2020 election, I saw how they censored all speeches on the internet in the name of "stop hate speech" or "stop misinformation." (while they kept spreading way more misinformation themselves) That's yet another shock to me. I am very familiar with how the CCP censors their people, and what they did was exactly like what the CCP did. Hunter Biden's laptop story was a great example, and you won't even allowed to send it in a private message on Twitter:
https://t.co/er7c8edQA0
Hunter Biden's laptop contained emails with Google's DKIM signatures. Anyone with a certain level of computer knowledge can verify them independently, as described here:
https://t.co/Ty0MfoKnWt
A digital signature like that is very, very hard to fake. However, most US press dismissed the story as Russian disinformation, and the New York Post account was banned for publishing news about it. I don't recall migrating to a communist country, but unfortunately, what I saw was straight-out press control and propaganda from the communist party playbook, and it happened here in the US. If I like a censorship country, I could just move to China. That's the last straw that broke the camel's back. I needed to speak up; otherwise, this regime would become another CCP.
I realized if you don't care about politics, it will care about you. Take the BLM movement as an example. Mobs go around and burn down cities in the name of racial justice. They called defund police, and more black people got killed because of it. Thanks to the radical left, they pushed me to become a 2A supporter because I realized the government could not protect you if they defund the police and let the mob burn down the cities. Also, look at the CrowdStrike outage. When 911 breaks down, who are you going to seek help from?
And as all we knew, there was an assassination attempt against Trump last week. We all saw this coming years after years of demonizing him by media. They called him nazi, fascist, or even Hitler, all kinds of names. But I saw nobody provide a solid example to prove that he's remotely close to that. It's all lies, lies and more lies to destroy him. They also made up legal cases with all kinds of exceptions and new legal theories just to get him. I would recommend watching Professor @Jed_Rubenfeld's video explaining the law clearly.

Whoever with any minimal experience with guns would know it's impossible to fake that assassination, yet there are 1/3 of people in this country believed it was staged. Many people openly wish that bullet didn't miss and encourage someone to do better the next time. So you can see how much hate they had in mind. They are willing to see this country burn into ashes as long as they get rid of this guy. The political persecution by lawfare is yet another evidence they are willing to bend the justice system and destroy Americans' trust as long as they can get Trump and stay in power. But what they don't know is that even if they got Trump, they will soon get installed with a new enemy in their mind for them to hate, and it's never going to end. Elon Musk is probably their next target because they hate him for restoring free speech.
When I saw Trump get shot but then stand up with a fist in the air and say, "Fight, fight, fight." with the flag in the background. That's a very touching moment. I saw a leader who never gave up fighting even when they spread lies about him, deployed lawfare against him, and eventually tried to take his life. I don't believe in god, but I said thank god they didn't get him.
After that, legacy media was watering down what happened. One newspaper even has a subtitle that goes, "Trump said his ear got shot." CNN even said, "There's no way this can be legitimate." There's no bottom of those legacy media. They want to make Trump look like a giant baby making a scene, but we all know how close the bullet was to changing history forever in a very horrible way.
It was even more moving to see Trump's return to RNC. His face was very different from what we saw in the past. I never see Trump look like that. He was emotional, tired, and vulnerable but also grateful he was still alive. At that moment, I bet some people got brainwashed by the media and finally realized that Trump is also a human being, a fellow American, instead of a monster painted by the media. Here's the video of his entrance to the RNC:

When I watched his speech, I saw a leader determined to make this country great:
https://t.co/hqr36VGhWO
We all know how awful our lives have become since Joe Biden took office. That guy promised unity, but after taking power, he kept pushing the same division agenda against the other half of fellow Americans. Despite failure after failure, they gaslighted us endlessly about how great a job they did, and all the pain we felt was just our illusion. Funny enough, nobody ever got fired from his administration. After the assassination attempt, he said we should turn down the temperature but then immediately called Trump a threat to democracy. It turned out that their votes were hate-based instead of merit-based. They have nothing positive to show the voters but can only bang on the legacy of hate toward Trump they have built in the past years.
It was also funny when they accused Trump of being a lair, but what I saw was that the whole legacy media industry was complicit with the regime to hide the fact Biden has dementia in the past 3.5 years. After Biden forcibly dropped out by a coup, they are already busy rewriting history, saying that Kamala Harris was not in charge of the border because it was a total failure:

Indeed, America is declining right now because the fourth power is on the same team as the regime, and they work together to brainwash people and cover up the dirt for the government like a clock instead of asking questions. Trump's fist-pumping photo is an iconic symbol for the MAGA movement. I believe as a billionaire, he can enjoy his life, and he does not need to get into this shit show and risk his own life if he doesn't truly love the USA and wants to make it great again. I saw how high the stakes are if we lose to the current regime, which acts more and more like a tyrannical government. And we were just a quarter inch away from a civil war because of the radicalization a week ago. Losing a few "friends" or potential jobs, contracts, or a customer is nothing compared to that.
I am nobody, but all I can do is show my support. Trump will be a great president because the press won't ask him nice questions like what's your favorite ice cream. So, TRUMP 2024, god bless America and Make America Great Again! ✊✊✊
