@ClaireMax Then I moved to Norway, where people speak fantastic English, but alternate between British and American forms. So now I don’t care. Unless I don’t understand what someone’s trying to communicate, but then I’m too anxious to ask, so I bluff it 9 times out of 10
@ClaireMax Yeah, I got nothing. Except the bad influence of growing up around people pronouncing things the same way? To be fair we also relentlessly make fun of the way different parts of the UK pronounce things…
@PlusOneMacie@ClaireMax That’s absolutely valid. My partner has a much more specific visual imagination than me, and often has a crystal clear idea of what they look like, but then they are an artist. I just write, so mine is more abstract and jumbled.
@ClaireMax@PlusOneMacie I think the feel is then important thing. I’m very abstract in the visual sense, so she really works for me in that sense. That grin is perfect
@ClaireMax I wonder where the differences come from. It’s always been a deep dark blue to me, whereas Wednesday is a yellow-gold. Now I’m starting to second guess myself…
@Kepchuk_art I totally get that. What I really meant to convey is that I saw the notification, thought “ooh, that seems cool!”, and when I went to look it was gone. You are an amazing artist that made someone pause their day to feel excited to see something you’d made.
