Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met in his office with the Ambassador of Argentina to Israel, Rabbi Shimon Axel Wahnish, and wished great success to the Argentine national team in the World Cup final taking place tomorrow.

Ambassador Wahnish presented the Prime Minister with an audio greeting from the President of Argentina, Javier Milei: "You are my friend, always supporting us. I was happy to hear that you are rooting for Argentina because of me."

Prime Minister Netanyahu replied to President Milei: "Javier, you are a friend. A true friend. You are a great friend, we support you, we support Argentina in so many ways, including tomorrow. Good luck!"

#Gaza Strip nutrition situation

Acute malnutrition among children has declined significantly, driven by scaled-up nutrition programmes, but 74,200 children under five are still expected to suffer from acute malnutrition through April 2027.

Adults continue to reduce their own food intake to prioritise their children: an estimated 24,600 pregnant and breastfeeding women are expected to suffer from acute malnutrition over the same period.

The October 2025 ceasefire has led to measurable gains in humanitarian access and overall conditions across the Gaza Strip, yet the situation remains deeply fragile.

The entire Strip is classified in Crisis (IPC Phase 3), and 1.4 million people are expected to face high levels of acute food insecurity through December 2026, up from 1.2 million in the mid-April–June 2026 period.

Establishing settler outposts in the West Bank is part of the IDF’s doctrine. That's what Maj. Gen. Bluth, the highest ranking officer in the West Bank, declared. Along with the IDF, these outposts are the leading edge of Israel’s project of ethnic cleansing in the West Bank and are directly responsible for the forcible displacement of more than 4,328 Palestinians, including 2,061 children, since October 2023.

Neither terror nor ethnic cleansing in the West Bank makes anyone safer. They only perpetuate violence. The real political purpose of these outposts is annexation and forcing Palestinians into ever-shrinking enclaves.

From 13 to 20 July alone, our Office has recorded that the Israeli military killed at least 57 Palestinians, including six children and eight women. Among these victims, 34 were killed far away from the Israeli-imposed “yellow line”.

Mamdani is failing to govern New York. Instead of focusing on his responsibilities as mayor and confronting the rising wave of antisemitism in his city, he has chosen to incite hostility and generate headlines by attacking the State of Israel.

It will not change a thing. Israeli Prime Minister @netanyahu will come to New York, address the United Nations General Assembly with pride, and stand before the world to state Israel’s truth and its unwavering right to defend its citizens.

And if anyone should be arrested, it is @NYCMayor Zohran Mamdani.

The food crisis in the Gaza Strip is worsening, with the World Central Kitchen shutting down some of its community kitchens. Throughout the ongoing genocide, these kitchens, along with local initiatives, became the only reliable source of food for hundreds of thousands of people. Now only three WCK kitchens remain, together serving about 200,000 hot meals a day – down from more than 1.5 million until recently.

Since October 2023, Israel has restricted the entry of food into Gaza while systematically destroying the local infrastructure needed to produce and distribute it. The result has been severe shortages, forcing hundreds of thousands of people into near-total dependence on humanitarian aid. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, by October 2025, 455 people, including 151 children, had died from starvation and malnutrition.

For many families, these community kitchens were the only way to secure a single meal a day. Now, even that fragile lifeline is disappearing.

In March 2025, Israel imposed a total siege on Gaza for more than two months, blocking the entry of humanitarian aid. It later imposed additional restrictions on the work of humanitarian organizations, prompting dozens of aid agencies to warn that they would be unable to continue operating. As a result, in May 2026, the World Central Kitchen began scaling back its operations.

The ongoing hunger crisis in Gaza is the result of deliberate Israeli policy. Humanitarian aid, dependent on Israel's changing decisions and interests, cannot replace a functioning system for producing and distributing food. As long as Israel continues to restrict the entry of food, destroy essential infrastructure, and obstruct humanitarian organizations, millions of people will remain trapped in a reality of hunger, deprivation, and dependence.
