✝️ The FCCB enjoyed their annual staff retreat with our chaplain, Fr. Tim Holeda of @stmcocathedral. It was a beautiful day of refreshment — filled with faith, food, and fellowship. We are so grateful for Fr. Tim's spiritual guidance and for time set apart to renew our hearts and strengthen our community. 🙏
Thank you, Fr. Tim! 🕊️

The 2026 National Eucharistic Pilgrimage is launching its journey this year from St. Augustine, FL! The pilgrimage officially begins Memorial Day weekend with Mass at the National Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche (where the first Mass was celebrated in 1565 at the founding of St. Augustine, the nation’s oldest continuously occupied settlement). From Northeast Florida, the pilgrimage will travel up the East Coast and conclude in Philadelphia on July 5, as part of America's 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Visit @dosacatholics website for event info. All are invited! #eucharisticpilgrimage #catholic @america250fl #america250 @euchcongress
Today we celebrate the feast of Saint Catherine of Siena, Doctor of the Church and fearless witness to Christ. ✝ Rooted in deep prayer and love for the Eucharist, she lived a life of holiness that transformed the Church—boldly calling for renewal and even helping guide Pope Gregory XI to return the papacy to Rome. Her life reminds us that faith and courage can shape the world. St. Catherine of Siena, pray for us! 🙏

Today we celebrate the feast day of Saint Louis de Montfort, a French Catholic priest who was made a missionary apostolic by Pope Clement XI. He is famous for his Marian devotion and writing his notable works, True Devotion to Mary, and The Secret of the Rosary.
“It was through the blessed Virgin Mary that Jesus Christ came into the world, and it is through her that He must reign in the world.”
He is the patron saint of preachers. St. Louis de Montfort, pray for us!
Leon County is home to Florida’s state capital in Tallahassee and showcases its political heritage at the Historic and New Capitol complexes. The Historic Capitol was recently restored to its 1902 appearance and is the next stop on Florida’s America 250 Road Trip. The restored building explores Florida’s path to statehood, while the 22-story New Capitol represents modern governance.
Together, they reflect the evolution of Florida’s government. Plan your visit here: https://t.co/lSiVvCBnJx

Remembering Bob Kevoian 🙏& amazing memories during a special time in Indy radio. Thank you, Bob, for your incredible patience & kindness to a young Butler grad making her way. I was blessed to be a ‘bench player’ on the greatest radio show of all time @bobandtom.
The next stop on Florida’s America 250 Road Trip was founded in 1851 as the West Florida Seminary. Later the Florida State College for Women, it was renamed Florida State University in 1947 when it became a coeducational institution to serve returning WWII veterans.
Today, FSU excels in academics and athletics and remains a vibrant part of Florida’s history. Click the link for more information: https://t.co/lSiVvCBVz5

#OTD in1824, Tallahassee was named Florida’s Capital city! The location was primarily chosen because the settlement was a midway point between St. Augustine and Pensacola, and three separate log cabins served as Florida’s first Capitol. Florida’s current Capitol, a twenty-two-story building, was completed in 1977. As we celebrate the 250th Anniversary of our nation, the building is decked out in red, white, and blue with exhibits honoring our founding and exploring our state’s history. Welcome to Catholic Days at the Capitol! Each year during the Florida legislative session, Catholics from across the state gather in Tallahassee to bring the light of faith to the public square and promote Catholic values through civic engagement. United with the bishops, event participants advocate for the protection of human life and dignity as lawmakers shape Florida's laws for the common good. By making the trip to our state capitol and lifting their voices, Catholic Days pilgrims help make a meaningful and lasting difference in the lives of all Floridians! #catholicdays #catholicdays2026
The Catholic bishops of Florida concluded the CDAC kickoff with a rosary, a perfect send-off for participants visiting the Capitol to meet with legislators during session on issues that protect and promote human life, dignity and the common good. #catholicdays#catholicdays2026
