to be an artist, you have to tap into your hedonistic tendencies, your proclivity for some kind of excess. making art is such a generous act, creating something as an offering to the world, gifting people the most delicious words, images, ideas and your presence, even though it will hardly ever appreciated the way it should be.. don't make art if you're still ruled by the voice inside you that wants validation, to be told you're good enough, to get fame, money, likes, and accolades. when was the last time you were truly generous with your love? smiling at someone before they have a chance to smile at you? buying someone a drink without expecting something in return? singing in the rain? it's always i want, i want, i want, and that's the ego. to be an artist is to say, i want to give, give, give.. whether they want or not. giving puts you in the position to always be able to give, and that's why there is no grief in the heart which serves the muse.
I love LA 🙂↕️ my sun line goes through there. LA has its own underworld so yeah it’s pretty intense. hence people selling their soul etc but it can also be profound for tapping into one’s divinity/power. very potent transformative energies that can make or break you. even all the fires etc.
