A former military officer broke down in tears, lamenting how degraded the military has become when a whole army general can be abducted by bandits and left to die in captivity because his own colleagues couldn't rescue him.
This is the grim reality of Nigeria under the administration of Bola Tinubu and the APC 💔
Let us say it plainly: the current Mallam Nasir El-Rufai saga with the Federal Government is beginning to look less like prosecution and more like persecution dressed in the costume of a political witch-hunt.
In a democracy, nobody should be above the law. If there are questions to answer, let the process be open, lawful, fair, and clean. But when state institutions begin to look selective, dramatic, and politically timed, citizens have every right to raise their eyebrows.
Justice must not look like revenge.
This is where the concern begins. Nigerians are not foolish. They know when the law is being used to serve justice, and they know when the law is being used to settle political scores. The difference is usually in the timing, the tone, the media drama, and the selective energy.
Mallam El-Rufai is not a small political figure. He has friends, critics, admirers, and opponents. But whether one likes him or not, due process must never be sacrificed on the altar of political bitterness.
If the government has a genuine case, let it present facts, not intimidation. Let the courts decide, not headlines. Let the process follow law, not emotion.
The danger of political persecution is that it weakens public trust in institutions. Once citizens begin to believe that anti-corruption or security agencies are being used as political weapons, even legitimate cases become suspicious.
Nigeria must not return to the era where power decides who is guilty before evidence is tested.
If this is prosecution, let it be transparent. If it is politics, Nigerians can already see through the costume.
In Arewa we have legislators who claim to be in the opposition whom in the chambers are very okay with everything Tinubu is doing, but when they want to address electorate in their constituency, that’s when they remember everything Tinubu and the APC are doing wrong.
Pure hypocrites!
The abduction and tragic death of General Rabe after days in captivity highlight a severe failure of the Nigerian government under President Bola Tinubu.
When even top military leaders cannot be protected or rescued, it raises a fundamental question: how can we claim to have a functional government? TINUBU MUST GO!
Inspection of another boreholes out of the 200 currently being constructed in Bauchi central LGs by Sen. Abdul Ningi to ease the water shortage in the areas. Each borehole will have a 5k capacity tank which is solar powered.

It is only right to say Waziri Atiku is a responsible person and equal to the task of fighting dictatorship, history will still repeat itself as Atiku will lead the race in tackling the menace of dictatorship as he had done b4

I have always told Atikulates especially when Obi and his supporters were in ADC bullying that they must be given ticket and were being petted by ADC that that is not how to deal with bullies, bullies only react or respect bullies.
Now that they are in NDC, Dickson is doing exactly how I wanted them to be treated.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NORTHERNERS ARE NOT POLITICAL SLAVES TO BOLA TINUBU: THE ATIKU MOVEMENT (TAM) REPLIES BELLO MATAWALLE
ABUJA, NIGERIA, The Atiku Movement (TAM) has strongly condemned recent statements made by the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, claiming that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will effortlessly "sweep" the voter turnout in Northern Nigeria in the upcoming elections.
In a robust response issued from its headquarters, TAM described the Minister's assertions as a delusional insult to the intelligence, dignity, and independence of the Northern electorate. The movement firmly asserted that Northerners are independent thinkers with a rich history of political consciousness, rather than political slaves bound to yield to the APC-led administration.
Out of Touch with Reality
TAM noted that Minister Matawalle’s remarks underscore how deeply detached the current administration’s appointees are from the harsh economic realities facing millions of everyday citizens. Rather than offering real solutions to the severe inflation, unprecedented food insecurity, and persistent regional insecurity, the administration's representatives have resorted to premature political arrogance.
The statement reads:
It is both tragic and ironic that Bello Matawalle is boasting about political sweeps while the very region he represents is enduring unprecedented economic hardship. To suggest that the North will blindly deliver its mandate to an administration that has offered little to no tangible development to our people is the height of political delusion."
A Scorecard of Neglect
TAM challenged the Minister to present a clear, objective scorecard of what the Tinubu administration has accomplished for the North to justify such bold claims. The movement highlighted several critical issues currently affecting the region:
1. Economic Stagnation: Skyrocketing energy prices and inflation have crippled local businesses and farmers across the Northern states.
2. Persistent Insecurity: Despite heavy spending and high-ranking defense appointments, communities across the Northwest and Northeast continue to suffer from banditry and displacement.
3. Lack of Tangible Development: Major infrastructural, educational, and agricultural projects vital to the North have been largely sidelined or poorly executed.
The North Will Vote Wisely
The Atiku Movement reminded Matawalle and the ruling party that the Northern electorate cannot be bought with patronizing political appointments given to a select few elites. The people of the region will cast their votes based on measurable performance, security, economic stability, and leadership that treats them with respect. The North remains entirely open, politically independent, and deeply committed to supporting leadership that prioritizes the welfare of all Nigerians.
TAM stands firmly with the people in demanding actual accountability over empty political rhetoric.

The Kano State government spokesman claimed that even last month, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s administration did a financial service to Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso.
Can you see why Nigerians will never take Kwankwaso seriously?
The majority of Nigerians view him as a member of the ruling party merely pretending to be in the opposition, which is why he will never support a united opposition front.
Yesterday, @Sen_AbdulNingi received in audience Former Managing director PPMC and Chief upstream investment officer at the NNPCL Dr. Bala Wunti.
Key to their discussion were issues relating to the progress of our dear state, Bauchi.
