Couple of people have asked my opinion of Well Written . How she will measure up when she comes to Aus. Well since ive been following Nz racing very closely since 2010 , we've had 5 or 6 genuine superstars, horses trained in Nz or Originally trained in Nz , Dundeel , Ocean Park , Silent Achiever, Verry Elleegant , Probabeel and Imperatriz 🫐 .Honourable mentions to Mongolian Khan , Bonneval , Melody Belle ,Jimmy Choux Te Akau Shark 🦈.
In my opinion beating up the Aussie 3 yo's in staying races doesnt qualify , its multiple Wfa wins against all comers that gets you on my super⭐️list .

Ive seen a few social media comments saying she hasnt beaten much , well she beat 2 G1 winners in this field on Saturday .Wasnt just how she won to the eye but her sectionals were outstanding .
I dont recall in the last few years ever seeing a horse record 1.5 second faster sectionals than the 2nd or 3rd placed horses before .
It doesnt look like we we will see her in Aus in Autumn unfortunately and it looks like her main aim will be the Golden Eagle next spring . Personally i dont like this plan . The race is a bit of a rough house affair with massive fields and we have seen some very smart mares get steam rolled in the race in the past .
The way she won on saturday ,the way she drops her head and relaxes in running suggests she will get 2000m easily , id be targetting the Underwood , Caulfield Stakes , Cox Plate if she was mine .
Bottam line is
Yes i do think she is an Australian Group 1 Wfa horse in the future . Well Written Vs Autumn Glow at some stage next season , could be something very very special .
