Beat Wolverine to 100% on the hardest difficulty, my honest review with things I liked and my fair criticism:
What I liked:
+ Liam McIntyre as Wolverine was perfect, as of right now. This is my performance of 2026 SO FAR!
+ The combat got better as more you played, playing the game on the hardest really made me use the combat to the fullest
+ The Story was hot for the first 60% then 60%-80% it got down a bit then it had very good moments from 80%-100%
+ Some of the best Graphics I've seen in a game
+ I didn't have a single glitch and the game ran very good in performance mode for the whole game
+ I personally love it's a linear game, I honestly don't mind no open world etc. I want wolverine games to be linear
+ Boss fights were awesome, very good set pieces and different variations in the boss fights
+ I think the enemy variety was good, especially later half of the game.
+ I liked the collectibles were obvious, I hate following guides for that. I don't like collectibles in general to collect
My personal Criticism:
- I think the white paint stuff should be way less, even a option to disable it
- The game is too easy, and the platinum is too easy. It has to be more challenging to feel more rewarded imo
- I think I need to see less of Troy Baker as himself in games, he did the role good but I wish I just didn't see Troy Baker in so many games
- The motorcycle parts didn't do much, even if they were harder they should be longer and have different parts to them
- If the do a sequel, have the option to press R3 to show the blue trail but this bever bothered me really since it's his power but that choice would be better
Overall I really enjoyed my time with this game, I think this is like uncharted 1 where they have so much here to do a 2nd game and REALLY hit a home run. If I had to put a rating it's a strong eight so 8.25/10.
I think a lot of people were thinking this would be a 9/10 GOTY contender for Sony but ended but a really good game instead of a masterpiece. But make no mistake, I had so much fun this whole week. It's why I spent so many hours in such a short time. IMO Insomniac Games still is the best SONY Studio, what a gen for them!
