Yesterday I shared five albums that have shaped the way I write songs. Today, for International Women’s Day, I wanted to highlight five records by incredible women that have had just as big an impact on me.
Each of these records, although different to one another, carry such a strong voice — fearless songwriting, emotional honesty, and songs that stay with you long after they finish.
They’ve all influenced the way I listen to music and the way I think about writing songs.
