I once told a manager on a project that I never used a Jupiter notebook, and he saw that as a red flag. He came from a marketing background in data science, and to him, the fact that a software engineer had never used a Jupyter Notebook was a sign of incompetence.

This is generally what happens when you have people who know nothing about tech leading technical teams. They run it to the ground without even knowing which context is relevant.

Next month, as part of the DPI–AI program, @MyItura will be piloting a solution very dear to my heart.

We are building a platform to extend credit to the 70%+ of healthcare seekers who currently pay out of pocket for essential care. This pilot is in partnership with @Cc_HUB , @dsn_ai_network, Digital Impact Alliance and with the support of the @gatesfoundation.

Our mission is simple yet ambitious: to make healthcare credit timely, low risk, and affordable ensuring that capital isn’t prohibitively expensive and that no one delays care because of cost. We believe that by adding financing as a layer to our offerings, we can further improve both accessibility and interoperability of healthcare across Nigeria and beyond.

To bring this vision to life, we’re equally open to collaborations with:
Funders committed to inclusive health financing,
Healthcare providers seeking to expand access for their patients,
Communities and partners who can help derisk credit for low income earners.
