@lunarindie@project_umb Thank you for all your hard work, and congratulations!
I'm glad it showed up in my news feed.
Is there any chance someone could add it to the "AniList" website? I know it's on MyAnimeList, but not on AniList.
That would be really nice thanks!
@FakeMafiaHubs@thanos_el@NervousGirlYoun I have too much complaints and they are on Anilist.
Tower arc is where the story take a turn for me, Maze and Bull we're fun indeed.
And it's rare to have a discussion like this on this community which is dominated by teenagers.
I shouldn't even be involved with that firstly.
@FakeMafiaHubs@thanos_el@NervousGirlYoun lol, you'd be surprised by my ratingit's 7.5/10. Surpasing, Tower,Poker are incredible story arcs, and I love psychological gambling manga; it's not rated higher for other reasons.
And I agree that you shouldn't judge a work by its fandom; you have to separate the art from artist
@FakeMafiaHubs@thanos_el@NervousGirlYoun Sum ppl want to claim street cred they've read it.
"Hyping up" is something that ruins any media because you end up expecting too much and you'll be disappointed, and fans will never tell you about its flaws, and that's why people hate this fandom, and the same goes for any other
@FakeMafiaHubs@thanos_el@NervousGirlYoun It takes some investment but; you know some people want to rush through it by skimming (some don't understand the rules and have to reread it—I'm not kidding, lol) just to get to a specific part that's trending/hype after seeing illustrations of it on social media.
@NervousGirlYoun I read Usogui in 2021, and all these larpers popping up on my tl are starting to anoy me, they have 0 reading compréhension, terrible fandom.
Should has more high standars others than " hype and moment "
And star reading others mangas.
Usogui is a victim of Akagi in everything
@NervousGirlYoun The famous Usogui fans who remember three arcs, never mention the others weirdy 🧐
Maybe because the manga isn't consistent from the beginning to the end? I wonder!
Never ask them to read " Batuque " it's the same quality as the others Usogui arcs, because the author is a hack.
@xtal1ze@thanos_el@NervousGirlYoun Classic teenager TikToker fan and you probably love edits that are pure brainrot nonsensical " analysis "
That so-called "depth" that only exists if you force the interpretation—it's often just empty fluff.
A good story doesn't need to be defended out of condescension.
@thanos_el@NervousGirlYoun I totally agree, it's turned into a TikTok media for young people who have 0 attention span, and only care about "hype and aura" moments; only three arcs are worth reading.
It's a manga that veers straight into pure spectacle, psychological deepth is minimal in every aspects.
@dahlio_ ( Manga pas anime )

@v_unfunny @wolfgang947 @apollo11cos I actually don't hate JJL It has good elements, it's still JJBA and JJBA is still very good, but i actually act and think critically, but yes i can be a hater if it's protect your stan vision of perfection.
@v_unfunny @wolfgang947 @apollo11cos Ah yes I'm a hater, for having a different opinion that many people share strangely.
So tooru is a blank slate, he isn't actually a character, much writing, much blind stan.
@v_unfunny @wolfgang947 @apollo11cos Also if dreams and memory are so important, why is that it's barely exploited and only spoke a little, that sound like not great writings to Me, tooru is not josuke antagonist, his yasuho antagonist point
@v_unfunny @wolfgang947 @apollo11cos that can't keeps up its paste and get noticibly weaker the longer it goes , araki is one of my favorite writers but you have to be a blind Stan that can't accept that your favorite auteur failed at something to say that jojolion is amazing.
@v_unfunny @wolfgang947 @apollo11cos He is still one of the worst antagonist who is not deep and badly exploited, and that the excuse of "it's on purpose that he is venal" doesn't excuse anything.
@v_unfunny @wolfgang947 @apollo11cos That's one way of interpreting it, but Araki doesn't really think like that, it's a semi-valid interpretation.
It doesn't change the fact that Tooru is a not very interesting antagonist.
