Yes, period huts are back. Because girls just aren’t embarrassed and awkward enough about menstruation.
But what happens when the trans-identified boy feels excluded from the period hut? What if he feels less of a girl? Perhaps it would be easier just to tell girls to stay home.
Thread of Lesbian Films and Shows that DON'T sanitize lesbian sex & romance for a heterosexual audience
(and all of the filmmakers happen to be women :D)
It is very strange to publish an article on the gender dynamics of mass shooters and not mention that the two "female" shooters used as flagship examples here were biologically male. Males commit more than 90% of violent crimes.
When you think about it, it’s absolutely insane that there has been a decade long fight in multiple countries around the world about whether men should be legally included in the category of women, and women who say no are actively punished by the men.
You can’t be a “party girl” at 13.
You can’t consent to sex at 13.
You’re not “down with it” at 13.
This was rape. It’s always been rape. It will always be rape.
I’m so tired of rape apologists trying to normalize pedophilia.
These were children.
Congratulations to @LiaFinocchiaro for her exceptional leadership in protecting the safety and dignity of women.
The NT Chief Minister’s announcement there will be no biological men in women’s jails reflects her determination to safeguard vulnerable women from the risk of harm.
Australians expect their political leaders to take on challenging issues and make tough decisions with moral clarity, courage and conviction. Thank you Lia.

Rape Is Not Resistance, Genocide Is Not Justice
I've had numerous fellow radical feminists reach out to me in confidence to tell me that there is a subject they are too afraid to publicly discuss in feminist spaces for fear of retribution from certain bad actors. This goes against the entire ethos of radical feminism.
Now I am going to talk about it. I am tired of being bullied into silence, and I'm tired of other radical feminists feeling similarly. If we feel too afraid to speak about something, it's because just discussing it hurts someone’s agenda.
It is not an “Israeli lie” or “zionist propaganda” to acknowledge that women, girls and other children were brutalized, murdered and raped by Hamas militants on October 7th.
Acknowledging that women and girls were raped and violently murdered on October 7th does not a zionist make, that’s just not how this works. Yet, that is what any woman who acknowledges the sexual violence committed that day is accused of, being a zionist who wants to weaponize fabricated claims of rape to condone genocide or demonize innocent hamas militants.
The notion that Hamas militant mass murderers are above rape is foundationally absurd. They killed women, children, elderly and entire families, brutalized corpses, and killed household pets. They destroyed entire homes, wiped out entire communities. They murdered and raped Filipino & Thai migrant workers, and murdered an elderly feminist and peace activist who dedicated her entire life to ameliorating the conflict, named Vivian Silver.
A woman named Gal Abdush was raped and murdered at the Nova Festival. After Hamas had retreated, her friends went back to the scene to look for her and found her burnt corpse frozen in rigor mortis, stuck in the position she died in. Her friends take a video while sobbing. Gal’s corpse is laying on her back. She is wearing a little black dress that has been ripped and pushed up above her hips. Her legs are spread eagle. You can see her bloodied vagina through all charred flesh, it looks like her vulva lips have been burnt off by the fire. There is a stab wound in her upper thigh. You can only fathom what that woman endured in her final moments of being raped and then set on fire. How can any human being, let alone a feminist, excuse this crime against women?
A 32 year old Filipino woman and migrant worker in Israel named Angelyn Aguirre was murdered by Hamas militants in Kibbutz Kfar Aza. Photos of her corpse were leaked and her body holds stark similarities to the corpse of Gal Abdush. Her pants are gone, the flesh of her hips clearly visible. She is in a similarly horrific spread-eagle position, there are large gashes on her upper thighs around her crotch, and she is covering her face in what seems like agony, forever frozen in that pose due to rigor mortis. Are you going to tell me she wasn’t raped either?
As if these islamist militants would draw the line at rape or found Israeli women too “disgusting” to rape is again, absurd and wildly misogynistic rape apologia seen in other instances of wartime rape (i.e. rape of Bosniak women & girls in the Bosnian genocide, the rape of Tutsi women & girls in the Rwandan Genocide, the rape of Jewish women & girls by Nazis in the holocaust).
This is a logical fallacy which is being weaponized against feminists to push us further into silence.
That being said, the mass slaughter and war crimes committed on October 7th do not excuse the violence and imperialism of the Israeli occupation, or their mass slaughter on a scale forty-fold via carpet bombing of Gaza since October 7th. These statements are NOT mutually exclusive. They can coexist and not contradict each other.
You can reject the Israeli imperialist regime and its abuses without condoning what Hamas waged on October 7th. If October 7th never occurred, as of December 10th, over 44,000 and upwards of 186,000 human beings would still be alive today (source: Counting the dead in Gaza: difficult but essential. Khatib, Rasha et al. The Lancet, Volume 404, Issue 10449, 237 - 238).
Hamas has caused nothing but misery for the Palestinian people. Its leader, Yahya Sinwar, was known by Gazans as the Butcher of Gaza, due to his history of political violence of dissenters or accused zionist-collaborators. Recently, an ISIS sex slave was rescued from inside Gaza. She was an Iraqi Yazidi girl who had been kidnapped by isis over ten years prior at the age of 11. A few years ago, she was trafficked into Gaza through the Egyptian border by Isis members who wanted to join Hamas. These men are not innocent. They are absolutely capable of rape and harming their own people.
You do not need to support a violent and misogynistic group like Hamas to support Palestinian liberation. You do not need to support Hamas to reject Israeli violence and condemn the genocide in Gaza. Criticism of Hamas is valid, as they have done an utterly shit job of attempting to liberate the Palestinian people. They are not revolutionaries, they are not freedom fighters. Freedom fighters do not need to murder women, girls and the elderly in any circumstance.
Concurrently, rightfully criticizing and refusing to support the Israeli Imperialist regime does not mean you support Hamas or any form of violence against jews. The mass slaughter and sexual violence committed on October 7th cannot and will not justify the response of endless collective punishment of carpet-bombing and immeasurable mass slaughter of mostly women and children committed by the IDF.
To say that hundreds of women in Israel were murdered en masse but there is no way any of them were raped is absurd, rape-apologia, and a lie. Concurrently, to say that Palestinian women, children and men who are imprisoned in Israeli prisons are not subject to sexual torture is absurd, rape-apologia, and a lie. To say that Israeli civilians deserved what occurred on October 7th is disgusting and a defense of genocide and war crimes. To say that Palestinian civilians deserved what has occurred since October 7th is disgusting and a defense of genocide and war crimes.
As radical feminists, we must refuse to condone violence against women in any circumstance, as it will never be exclusive to one group of women you argue deserved it. There is no circumstance in which this is okay. The exact same thing is true for genocide, and mass slaughter committed by the IDF.
I have faced repeated harassment and attacks from self-described radical feminists and other pseudo-leftists for repeating what I have said here, accusing me of being a zionist, which is absurd given my repeated loud disavowment of the Israeli occupation. But that will not stop them from throwing around zionist like it’s the new scarlet letter of shame. I fear that leftist netizens have once again weaponized a powerful word with harsh connotations (like TERF, fascist or Nazi) as a tool to silence dissenters, mainly feminist women.
Finally, I want to acknowledge the reactions of certain feminists to the footage of the October 7th attacks. That day I read tweets cheering on the murders of Israeli women like Shani Louk come from multiple women I have immense respect for. They found it within themselves as self-described radical feminists to defend the men who paraded a woman’s corpse in a truck bed around Gaza, only slowing down to allow passersby to hurl spit on her bent, deformed corpse.
I have seen feminists say they think October 7th should have been “even worse” after cheering on the murders of Israeli women. I want to reiterate that it goes against the fundamental ethos of radical feminism to cheer on violence against women in any form, even if it’s against women you think are evil. There is no possible liberation of any group of oppressed people that requires violence against civilian women, children, and the elderly.
If you think the violence against women, children, and entire families was warranted, or if you think the genocide and displacement of thousands of Gazans is warranted, you are not a radical feminist, you are not a leftist. You can’t even call yourself a good person. Do not mistake my words, I do not claim to have a proposed solution to this conflict, I do not have a proposed solution to this war, I do not claim to have the answer, and I do not claim allyship with either Hamas or the IDF. Given my analysis through a radical feminist and leftist lens, they are both fundamentally evil groups hellbent on causing suffering in the Levant.
When there is war, there is rape. The two are inseparable. For as long as war has been waged, women and children have suffered the most. October 7th is no longer, but the people of Gaza continue to suffer, and women & girls will time and time again bear the brunt of it. The same rhetoric that denies that women suffered sexual violence on October 7th can be used against any other victims of war violence, like the women of Rwanda, the women of Bosnia, and the women of Palestine.
If you can find an excuse to make rape denialism against Israeli women, those same exact excuses can be weaponized against any woman or girl in any circumstance.
