Newer followers that don't know my story allow me to introduce myself and maybe I can give you some inspiration to see this through 👇 What got me into trading, how I found it, my struggles how I overcame them and my advice to you. VERY long read so buckle up✅🤝👇 I have always loved the idea of making money online since I was a youngin I'm still pretty young early 30s, but even since I graduated high school I knew the internet and making money from my pc is what I was going to dedicate my life too. It was my way out of the "rat race" Like many of you I was raised up the same way get a steady job with a good 401k and be content I had great parents which im grateful for. But they grew up in a different time didn't see the vision and simply repeated what was passed down to them from their parents I would tell them when I was a youngin that I was going to be a millionaire that I wanted to make money online and they would roll their eyes my father would tell me it's a scam and to not bother I resented him for this and put a chip on my shoulder which played a big role in me having that drive. Today as im more mature I can see he wanted the best for me and the safe well constructed path that has been walked by many before... in his mind it was the best life for me But I didn't want that and knew there was more out there I was wired different and I knew it My peers didn't see the vision either. Most were more interested in the typical teenage bs like partying, drinking doing drugs and low level drama So, I didn't fit in with most people because I was always money minded thinking of ways to make a dollar and hustles I can do At this time making money online wasn't really even a thing.. Very very rare So, my very first hustle was blogging and trying to make money off ads I've always been into bodybuilding as a young kid so that was my focus for the blog and stayed consistent for a bit but really no traction Got some views but paid pennies Found a course promising to make 30k a month with ads if you follow his instructions As you can probably guess, was a scam but me being young naive and impatient I fell for it Which this disocuraged me ended up quitting the blog and trying something else Found an ad on affiliate marketing and how I can make millions in passive income Again, hook line and sinker I fell for it Not saying you can't make money with it but everyone I "learned" from was scammers and his advice was i have to first get an email list..to buy one Recommended I buy an email list because its quicker and already have willing buyers At this time, I was working fast food and literally would spend my entire paycheck on email lists Me being young and dumb I would get a sale which would fire me up but with all the money I was spending on email lists was still in the red So basically, I can see now the scammers would throw me a bone give me a little sale give me some motivation to keep buying from them But was not making a return overall Seems stupid in hindsight but when you are young, naive you are impatient and also believe everyone online wants to help each other money...being scammed didn't even enter my mind until several paychecks later What actually made me realize it was the guy I was buying email lists literally said "Lol, ok" when I was making a purchase from him...again Which made me think wtf is funny 😂 He was laughing at me and how naive I was to keep paying after losing so much money So stopped that and then found droppshipping to keep it brief bought a course got scammed again made no money and did feel a little discouraged as it seemed the only people making money here are the scammers.. I took a brief break because I got a girlfriend who I was in love with so being it was my first love everything else took the back burner and she was my world for a short bit I wasn't even thinking about making money online because love clouds your mind I proposed and knew she was going to be my wife Long story short she ended up cheating on me right before our wedding and I spiraled This is where I got into drugs and alcohol I developed a severe addiction to xanax and alcohol to the point where I basically gave up on life for a bit and ended up homeless I just stopped showing up to work had severe depression and it seemed like nothing in my life was going right Couldn't make money Couldn't find love what else is there Was living out my car for a bit drinking myself to death and seriously contemplated self deletion I've stared down that barrel of that gun and even started to find that peaceful...a dangerous place to be This was my lowest moment but also where I found God because when you are in this place God is all you have I gave myself to him And after doing so I found the power to continue and got it together got a new job Hated my new job but was stable again Work all night in a factory doing the same ole shit This is where i got back into the make money online scene And stumbled upon penny stocks (started here don't trade pennies anymore) This is where i got on the path though To keep it fairly brief like most beginners I was scammed several times here as well but eventually I did find a good teacher and a working strat Had to learn the hard way that psychology is so important because even though I had a strat...my patience was crap I wanted out that situation so bad hated my life which fueled that impatience which is the worst thing for trading Blew my account had to rebuild But this time put more focus on psychology Started meditating more I also discovered that low rr (1:1) made me more stable trading And I flipped a switch where instead of letting that fear own me I owned it I told myself everytime I break my rules its another day I have to work that job Everytime I switch up to shiny objects another day of misery added Had to accept losses as part of trading drawdown part of trading and me ditching when it's slow would just lead me to working that job forever I wrote it down kept it in front of me for constant reminder So I came from a place of extreme impatience hating my situation and i used that fear to make me disciplined which is hard...but I proved it's possible Had setbacks along the way but once I adopted this mindset took full accountability stopped pointing fingers got honest with myself I started to make progress Long story short.. Started trading in 2014 Fulltime trader by 2020 i quit my job Millionaire by 2021 I never have to work again im financially free and live the dream I had since a youngin And now get to help thousands do the same keep pushing boss Im nothing special so I promise if I can do it you can too God is good
