People fall for hype far too much. United have bought into hype far too much down the years. Finding value in the market is important.
Anderson was sold by Newcastle and developed into a £116m player. Palmer could barely get a look in at City and exploded at Chelsea. United almost took a written off Cucurella on loan from Chelsea once, now he's won the Euros and signed for Real Madrid. People were desperate for Baleba last year, now people don't wanna touch him.
Bad/underwhelming spells don't make players bad players.
It's about building the right environment and conditions for players to hit their potential. This is what I want United to be better at. You need a mix of course and United will need FAR more than an Andrey Santos, but they need to keep making good decisions and getting the most out of the players they have and will bring in.
Optics can change very quickly if they do it right. Have an open mind.
“Why are we signing Andrey Santos, a player from Chelsea bench, is this what INEOS has in store for us” but you are crying that INEOS did not sign Mateus Fernandes, a player with back to back relegation for £85m on £170k a week from £12k a week..
Make it make sense please..
Dear Bruno Fernandes,
I hope this message reaches you soon.
Every single day, I thank God for blessing Manchester United with a player like you . A true warrior who bleeds red for this club. A leader who could easily chase a life of luxury elsewhere but chooses to stay because the interest of the badge comes first in your heart.
For the past six years, I’ve watched you pour everything into this club. I’ve seen your tireless efforts, your leadership, and your relentless drive to restore Manchester United to its rightful glory.
It’s been frustrating when the results haven’t always matched the sacrifice but that was never on you. ONE TREE CANNOT MAKE A FOREST .
From the moment you stepped foot at this noble club, you’ve been a lightning rod for criticism.
Every pass, every decision, every moment under the spotlight gets dissected because of the giant jersey you wear. Yet through it all, you’ve never buckled under pressure. You’ve never abandoned your teammates when things got tough. You’ve stood tall, fought till the final whistle, and always shown nothing but respect for the club and the fans.
Now that your consistency is finally bearing fruit and the team is showing signs of real progress, new waves of unnecessary hate and agendas have surfaced from rivals and even so-called “fans” who throw every name at you. Some have gone as far as wishing you harm over things far beyond your control, like a tough international performance.
But know this, King: that noise isn’t true hatred.
It comes from the high standards they hold you to . Because deep down, they know you’re the one capable of making the impossible happen.
They believe in your magic.
I’ve followed you for so long and I know exactly what you’re made of. I have no doubt you will silence the doubters and make them eat their words.
Keep shining, Captain. Bring the trophy home where they belong. We’re with you all the way.
Best wishes and utmost respect,
A loyal Red 🫡❤️
