@aknox92 @PatHedger18 It had nothing to do with any maintenance practices. US pilots weren't trained to deal with MCAS because...no one (pilots) knew it was on the aircraft. It's actually a relatively easy fix (elec trim still works and cuts out MCAS temporarily), but no one knew about it.
