Spent weeks setting up NousResearch Hermes Agent on local hardware (12GB VRAM).
Tried Qwen 2.5 14B & Qwen3.5 9B — they just don’t have the juice. Simple web scraping + news tasks? It forgets the previous message like it has dementia.
Hermes has huge potential as a persistent 1/
