Traces of Texas reader Wilson Reagan graciously shared this photo of a young George Strait. I can't believe I have never seen this before but I never have. It appears that it was taken when he was still a student at Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos or perhaps shortly after. Amazing. He went on to have 60 #1 hit songs (and still counting!) but, at this time, he was relatively unknown. Mind. Blown.
