I honestly don’t think most people are aware of the silent British coup that took place during the Boris Johnson to Rishi Sunak years of politics. It was effectively a mini Project 2025.
The Conservatives injected like-minded individuals into a number of supposedly Independant and relatively benign organisations. Ranging from the Equalities And Human Rights Commission, to the Charity Commission. With a specific brief to “wage war on woke.” They BBC was also infected. The trans community noticed, because suddenly full-blown hate orgs like LGB Alliance and Sex Matters were awarded charitable status. The EHRC - supposedly the champion of minorities - began advising employers how they could ban trans people from using loos (even though the law says you can’t). So it’s no surprise the innocent sounding @ChtyCommission tried to prevent probably THE shadiest Right Wing think-tank in Britain from coming under legal scrutiny.
