@MillPrue The fees are opaque.
All of us would happily pay the same amount to Meta if they got us 10%+ conversion rates on new to brand customers.
It just kills to need a part time worker just to figure out what we pay. Plus Amazon subsidized for so long it hurts.
@Clint_Davey1 "The purpose of a system is what it does"
Also true for art.
If your goal was to make people dislike X but they ended up loving X, then the purpose of your art is to celebrate X
@thetoyinvestor I think most people just can't conceptualize the future very well.
Shifting supply from a low valued demand 'now' to a higher valued 'future' demand is just something they can't grasp.
@ecom_withmark Ya, gating is WAY harder now.
I had to restart from scratch a few months ago and just how gated things are took me by surprise.
Even now that I am ungated in a lot more, gating is broken so all the tools don't detect it correctly.
Just a much lower per hour than 5 years ago
@michaelpatron0 I found that getting new customers is break even at best. Money made comes from future sales.
Exceptions exist but you are basically buying customers.
@ecom_withmark How long ago was this?
If it was more than 12 months (honestly 6) it is outdated.
Not saying newbies can't find anything but the hit rate is going to be WAY lower.
Plus receipts don't ungate anything anymore
@Molson_Hart While your suggestion would be nice I don't think it is practical.
I would rather all municipal and state costs come from property tax.
Every year we should get an itemized expense report.
Large deduction tied to the first 1000 sq ft, higher after 2500
@Molson_Hart I disagree.
There isn't an actual reason people can't go to prison if they did something illegal, it just isn't enforced.
Also, companies should face more than simple fines when they do something destructive. That part is total BS.
