We are a GP practice with 3 sites in Church Village, Beddau and Creigiau. We have 6 GP partners, 4 salaried GPs and 3 registrars serving 17,000 patients.
#coronavirus Have you travelled to any area affected by Coronavirus in the last 14 days? Have you had direct contact with anyone confirmed as having Coronavirus? If it's yes to either of these, please do not come into the surgery – phone us and we will contact Public Health Wales
Just to let you know that our eConsult service will be unavailable between approximately 10 and 11pm on Thursday 16 January due to maintenance being carried out.
We are having problems with our automated reminder SMS service in that it is providing incorrect information. The reminder SMS will therefore be stopped temporarily until the problem is rectified.
We have a first contact physio, Pete Smith, working at the practice for 2 half-days a week. Pete will be able to assess your musculo-skeletal (MSK) problems and recommend appropriate treatment. Please can you therefore book an appt. with him for any MSK issues rather than a GP.
We have had a brief problem with our eConsult website link so it has been switched off. It should be live again shortly as the problem has been resolved.
eConsult is now back up and running - apologies for the lack of service over the last 2 days - this was due to an NHS IT outage across Wales which has now been resolved.
Our IT systems are back up and running today with the exception of eConsult. NHS IT team is working on this and we hope that it will be fixed soon - in the meantime you are able to use eConsult if you want to seek self-help.
Due to our IT issues, we have changed our eConsult banner on our website to self-help only i.e. templates can't be submitted to us. This is because some of the submitted eConsults today have bounced back. We will turn the full eConsult functionality back on as soon as we can.
Unfortunately we are experiencing major IT issues with our clinical system today. The national NHS IT team, NWIS, is working on this as it is an all-Wales problem. We may as a result be unable to deal with eConsults within the required timescale. Apologies for this.
We are having some work done on our phone lines which may mean that our phone number is out of action for a short period of time. Please bear with us - the phones will be back up and running as soon as possible.
We have published new social media community guidelines - please see our website under 'New patients - social media guidelines'. We ask you to have a look to make sure that any posts are in line with the guidelines. Thank you.
