Meghan Markle recently shared rare footage of her labour, and the internet lost its collective mind. One self-described “royal commentator” called the video “an act of treason”.

So what exactly did The Duchess do to spark such a reaction?

She danced.

What’s truly “embarrassing” is the public reaction to Meghan’s joy. Dancing during labour is not an act of treason — it’s an act of sovereignty over one’s body. It’s joyful. It’s grounded in history and modern science. And above all, it’s human.

Labelling our identities isn't about telling people who is in our beds. It's about finding community and knowing that we're just a variation of normal. JK Rowling is perpetuating harm against the Ace community and people shouldn't stand for it.
