Women have been shown to be more sensitive to others' suffering, whereas, warriors celebrated for killing their opponents are almost always men. We need to see more women in leadership roles and more closely involved in education about compassion. #InternationalWomensDay
@CorpusChristiCP Thanks for inviting me it was humbling to kneel before our smallest children to make the sign of the cross with ashes on their forehead. Let's hope together we turn to God this Lent & believe the good news.
Sometimes we may feel we are alone in facing difficulties. But, even if He doesn’t intervene immediately, the Lord walks by our side and, if we keep going forward, He will open up a new path.
If you believe in God you must try to live justly with everyone, according to the golden rule: “Do to others whatever you would have them do to you” (Mt 7,12).
We won’t bring about peace in the world merely by praying for it; we have to take steps to tackle the violence and corruption that disrupt peace. We can’t expect change if we don’t take action.

I salute those who work in the Jesuit Refugee Service who, in the name of the Church, in the name of God our Father, reach out to people in such darkness and difficulty. https://t.co/xhWXG0p70J @JRSUK @JesuitRefugee#Refugees
Genuine friends, are attracted by a warm heart, not money, not power. A genuine friend considers you as just another human being, as a brother or sister, and shows affection on that level, regardless of whether you are rich or poor, or in a high position; that is a genuine friend
This is our experience in #sthelens were over the last 12 months #WithRefugees who have become friends making all our lives richer https://t.co/J5PxK4tMBK
