Some pictures from yesterday!
Anna made a beautiful melon cake to celebrate Carissa’s birthday.
A group from Indigenous Services Canada came to help out. While here, Neighbours also spoke to the ISC team about what real solutions to food insecurity look like.
In our most recent survey we asked our Neighbours for feedback on our space and programming. Working together to meet the needs of our community is the only way to make impactful change. Here is some of that feedback:
Food security and food justice are at the heart of our work at Parkdale Food Centre. We strive to honour the peoples and the land of the Anishinaabe Algonquin Nation, and commit to listening, learning and taking action against policies inhibiting Indigenous food sovereignty.
Take a seat at our table to share food, laughs and memories with a Neighbour. 💐 Neighbour to Neighbour we can work towards a stronger community for us all.

Sitting together for a meal allows for great conversations with a Neighbour. Stop by Tuesday and Thursday for a community lunch cooked in-house.
Having the opportunity to catch up with Neighbours is something to appreciate! Stop by and share a meal with us.
