@shion2519 i'm saying it's not the same thing because smash players would want to focus on the game at hand, whereas w/ rhythm games the music BGA and gameplay all go hand in hand. changing music in smash ONLy changes music

@shion2519 there's no reason for smash players to pick a specific song other than if they REALLY like it, or wanna distract the opponent

if you pick a song in a rhythm game match, you're probably doing so for the gameplay -- you COULD be deliberately picking a wild BGA but probably not
