A tiny stables in London with a huge heart, a refuge for happy horses and people, and a thriving Riding for the Disabled Centre. #horseride#carriagedrive
We had the most fantastic time at @HartpuryEvents recently. We attended the Riding for the Disabled National Championships. So many magic moments like this one. A magical weekend away for our riders with disabilities, achieving & making new friends.
With great sadness we are sharing the loss of our great friend Peter J Mccormack. Peter showed us extraordinary kindness, giving opportunities to our participants & their families. Put simply, our charity would not be what it is today without him. Rest in peace dear Peter
We are not doing much horsing around this week due to the heat. If anyone needs support locally to South west London or virtually anywhere, just reach out. We can do horsey facetime, have a chat, do shopping etc just let us know. Stay cool and hydrated everyone. ๐ด๐ด๐ด
So proud of our whole team who make magic happen everyday. We passed our inspection with flying colours which included vet examinations of all the horses & a dive in to the way our human team are cared for too. One day we will take a day off to rest & reflect ๐ด๐ด
Yesterday was 1 of our favourite days of the year, our very own Derby! Every year some of our Park Lane family take part in the @TurksHeadTW1 10km and 1 of our amazing ponies is the tail walker bringing up the rear. A fantastic community event, celebrating what people CAN do.
Felt compelled 2 post a photo of Woody.50kg of adorable chaos, stars in his eyes & genuine love of life. As Mum & proud ambassador of 2 down syndrome charities, I am disgusted & devastated in equal measures at the lack of regard publicly written by a young influencer about ds.
โญ๏ธIt's volunteers week โญ๏ธ
This week is all about celebrating & thanking our volunteers. Nothing can happen without them, we are so grateful for their precious time. They all bring different life experiences & expertise to the charity & we always celebrate what they CAN do
So proud of Woody getting his first volunteer credit at @parkrunUK today. It really is what you CAN do that counts and today he well and truly contributed and made a difference.
We had the best time welcoming @powerofpolo to connect with our young people and beloved ponies. Lots of new friendships formed and new skills learned. Looking forward to part 2 when we will be visiting @guardspoloclub
At a loose end this weekend? Football season over for many. Listen in to some inspiring stories of people using sport to do amazing things.

Our apprentice arranged a visit to a care home for those with acquired brain injuries. We are so proud of her for organising such a magical session. We will definitely be back.n๐ด๐ด
A day Woody has waited 4, 4 a long time, Woody has many faults but he is loyal. The return of @joshdasilva_ meant so much to him & delighted Josh came to get his doughnut made by @brentfordpengui Always teaching Woody to give not take or ask for anything.
Horesome day at @lborouniversity talking reflecting leadership with amazing people.
I was blessed the day I met @TonyGhaye2 who taught me so much in so many ways, what an honour to be invited to talk to his students who are destined for greatness in the sporting world.
Thank you to everyone that supported the old bird dressed a penguin for @LondonMarathon The donations, the kind words, the shared songs and the amazing crowd who carried me for 26.2 miles. I did it!! I smashed the target for @brentfordpengui so they can keep doing amazing things
I have 3 sleeps until I run @LMFoundation_ dressed as a penguin for @brentfordpengui I am very nervous but determined to do them proud as they do so much for all the players with Downs Syndrome. Any support would be very welcome. ๐ง

Yesterday we attended a new care home who had reached out to us to bring some horse magic in to the lives of their residents. We created lots of smiles and evoked lots of memories.
