Thank you everyone for 1000 subscribers! Special thanks to all of you who stayed subscribed in the hiatus years, I've been continuously amazed that the number kept trickling upwards in that time 😅
Onwards and upwards!
Just finished Persona 3 (not Episode Aigis yet) for the first time and I think I'm broken
Took me 4 months of just playing it 1-2 days per week, but in a period where I was really contemplating my own life's purpose
Not a 10/10 game, but 10/10 for personal impact
To clarify: I'm not looking for examples of people who say "well yeah i watch 2-3 hours daily...". So do I - I'm not surprised there are people who do.
I'm surprised that 1 hour daily is the GLOBAL average, taking into account EVERY person on Earth. I think that's interesting!

YouTube have announced a big change to the partner program - I am hoping I will be lucky and meet the old requirements very soon and get that approved before this change comes into effect!
But I wanted to just talk about a stat that's within this article about watch time (1/?)
YouTube is doubling the viewership requirements new creators must meet to earn ad and Premium revenue
From February 1, creators will need 8,000 watch hours over 12 months or 20 million Shorts views in 90 days
Also, the article says that 1 billion views is on *TV*. So that's not counting mobile or PC platforms views at all? I find that very difficult to believe - but as I said, I'm not explicitly doubting the statistic, just commenting on what that says about us.
Happy 4 years to one of my favourite games that possibly became the most important.
It defined a new chapter in my life, twice.
It's final message is amazing, yet challenging.
All while being a bit goofy and fun.
Maybe they're just games, but damn I love this series ♥️
CONCLUSION: Nintendo continues to win the console wars by doing nothing
They have problems, big problems...but sometimes, they just stay in their lane and it works.
Lowkey as long as Nintendo don't pursue heavy AI usage the Switch 2 will win the next 5 years mark my words
In October 2024, I bought a PS5 to play Metaphor on release, and this was the first non-Nintendo console I owned - then opening up an experiment where I could actually start experiencing other modern games that weren't available because of the Switch's hardware
(1/2)
With today's news from Playstation...I think the experiment is concluding.
Whilst I'm not as negative or dystopian as others, wish to apply as much nuance as possible, and try to avoid giving in to my social media feed, I do not feel like this is a good decision from Sony...

But a new Xenoblade getting revealed - right as I try to launch the channel proper - is probably the most fitting end to this "arc" of my life.
I'll share more feelings over time, probably with no particular method. But I'm confident of what lies ahead. See you all soon!
Oh, I probably should have posted this sooner.
First: XC3 NUZLOCKE IS BACK ON SATURDAY RAHHHH https://t.co/PHUyKclpjg
This video's had a real tumultuous creation, and I'm not sure it's up to the right standard. But I've been on a big journey and confident of the future!
But this was probably the final piece I needed right now. I've had a long, personal journey that no one really knows about, but I feel like I now know who I am, and what I want to do. Some of this will be unpacked as I talk about Xenoblade 3 during the Nuzlocke series.
